The fourth and last round of EMX SW Zone EMX65/85 European Championship started in cloudy, windy weather at Fernao Joanes with 52 riders: 28 in class EMX 65 and 24 in EMX 85.
The weather condition in the morning and all day was windy and cloudy. For qualification races it was sunny. The track was really well prepared.
Qualification race winner of class EMX 65 was Spanish rider Francisco Garcia, 10,69 sec ahead of Italian Patrick Busatto and 13,55 sec ahead of French rider Jules Pietre.
The first lap in class EMX 85 was lead by Pablo Gutierrez Solis, but in few laps Spanish Raul Sanchez Garcia took the first position and won the qualification race. Second position for Italian Matteo Luigi Russi, 3,69 sec ahead of French Saad Soulimani, 14,83sec behind the leader.
