Introduction to Trial EC round in Tanvald (Czech Republic)

Decisive moment for the 2014 FIM Europe Trial Championship in this coming week-end in Tanvald, North of Czech Republic. For the first time two competitions, both valid for the European Championship, Junior Cup and Over 40 Cup will be held in the same event, one on Saturday and one on Sunday. Being the third and the fourth round in the series consisting of five events, there are real possibilities to crown the first champions. Starting form its first time in 2009, Tanvald continues to be a constant location in the organization of European events. Its "closed" circuit, completely off road, confirmed to be ideal to let young talents ride their motorcycles without the restrictions for public roads. Moreover, being the loop quite short and in a wonderful forest, it is easy and pleasant for spectators to follow the whole competition. Eyes locked on the uncertain fight in the top class.

Second round of Trial European Championship in Alagna Valsesia (Italy)

German Franz Kadlec (Beta) is the new leader in the Europe class of the FIM Europe championship, after a convincing victory in Alagna Valsesia, North-West of Italy. Wonderful mountain scenery for this second round, organized in a tourist winter ski-resort village. Twelve sections to repeat three times in a very short loop, easily accessible by spectators. All the sections were completely natural because the venue was rich of any kind of obstacles, Trial competitions require. Scores were quite high for every class, due to a tight application of the no-stop rule. Kadlec started soon very well gaining the leadership after the first lap: he scored 17 points. Italian Luca Cotone (Sherco) scored 2 points more, while the winner of the previous round, Belgian Maxime Warenghien (Sherco), was in third with 24 mistakes. Presentation of the FIM Europe Trial Championship in Alagna (Italy)

The 2014 FIM Europe Trial Championship is ready to offer its second round. After the positive beginning in North-East of Italy, in Pietramurata, the European circus will be hosted again in Italian peninsula, this time moving to North-West, in Alagna, Valsesia, Piedmont region. This time the event is matched with the FIM World Championship for a two-day competition at high level. As tradition, priority is given to European event on the field on Saturday the 31st. About 110 entries were already accepted split on the four usual classes, that is another proof to prove the good health of this championship. The 15 section-loop is very short and it will be easy for spectators to follow their favorite riders simply walking around. Trial European Championship in Pietramurata (Italy)

Belgian Maxime Warenghien (Sherco), German Sascha Neumann (Gas Gas), Finnish Jussi Haapanen (Gas Gas) won respectively the Europe, Junior and Over40 classes in the first round of the 2014 FIM Europe Championship, organized in Pietramurata, near Trento, North-East of Italy. As happened in the competition of the day before, the weather was very good and being the terrain very dry, the scores of the riders lowered a lot. The winner in the top class, who competed with Switzer licence, put a serious option on his victory ending the first lap with only 3 points. Start of 2014 Women and Youth Trial EC in Pietramurata (Italy)

British Dan Peace (Gas Gas) and German Ina Wilde (Gas Gastopped the first podiums in the Youth and Women class respectively, in Pietramurata, near Trento, North-East of Italy. The 23rd European Trial Championship, for the second year, under the name of FIM Europe, started under the best conditions. Nice weather, private area with sections easily reachable by the spectators, and good job for the Top Trial Team, playing for the first time the role of organizer. Two laps and 12 sections, even this year. Among the Women , the beautiful German lady had hard time in having the upper hand on Italian Sara Trentini (Beta). Both at the end of the first lap scored just 6 points and felt the pressure of other two Teutonic girls: Theresa Baulm (Ossa) and Sarah Bauer (Sherco) tied with 2 marks more. Just one week to the first round of what has always acted as a springboard to launch riders become later even world champion. Last round of Trial EC in Boras (Sweden)

Swedish Eddie Karlsson (Jtg), British Iwan Roberts (Gas Gas) and Dutch John Van Veelen (Ossa) , the other European champions, after the last round of the UEM FIM Europe Trials Championship, disputed in Boras, Swedish town, well known for the textile industry. Karlsson clinched the title , but Italian Luca Cotone (Gas Gas) beat him on his home terrain: at last Cotone succeed in staying ahead of the champion. After loosing the battle for a while either in Italy or in Norway, he got his revenge, beating the rival by just a couple of cleans. German Franz Kadlec, Gas Gas, and British Emma Bristow, Sherco, are the two 2013 champions in respectively Youth and Women class in the UEM FIM Europe Trial Championship. This last round was held at Boras, Sweden. A two day-event where as tradition on Saturday all the stage was for the very young riders and for the women. One of the reasons for interest was to watch the duel among the two riders who shared the provisional standings before this race: Kadlec and British Jack Price, Gas Gas. The European Trial circus is moving 300 km south from Oslo to Boras in Sweden, town famous for textile industry, not far from Goteborg for the last round of all its championships and cups. It will be again a whole week-end dense of trial. On Saturday in the two laps with 12 sections each the competition consist of, it will be up for grabs the Youth and the Women trophies. Sweden Eddie Karlsson (JTG) after a hard-fought duel with Luca Cotone (Gas Gas), topped the podium, collecting his third win in a row in these series at the UEM FIM Europe Trial Championship, held at Hvervenbukta, south of Oslo, Norway. Norwegian Ivar Norum (Beta) triumphed in the Junior and Dutch John Van Veelen (Ossa) was the best between the Over 40's. Being the odds-on favorite made Karlsson suffering for too much pressure. He fived soon a couple of sections in the first part of the lap, yielding the leadership to Cotone, almost unwilling to believe to have the chance to beat him on his land.
