Start of the Supermoto EC in Capua (Italy)

Circuite Internationale del Volturno in Capua (Italy) was the host of the first round of European Supermoto ES2+Young Trophy Championship 2013. First race was dominated by the runner-up of the 2012 season: Dutch Devon Vermeulen (KTM) took the holeshot and lead the race from start to finish. French rider Frederic Guerin (Suzuki) pressed Vermeulen to make a mistake for the complete 15 laps of the race but was unable to make a pass and saw himself on the second place. Third step of the podium went to Malachi Mitchell-Thomas from Great Britain (TM). Second race started after the same scenario: Vermeulen (KTM) managing to start in front of the pack with Guerin (Suzuki) close on his tracks. Last round of S2 Supermoto EC in Carole

Last round of the European S2 Supermoto Championship began with leader Petr VORLICEK moving up to the World S1 Championship, as he had already won the title of European Champion last round in Switzerland, having an advantage of 98 points over Devon VERMUELEN with only 75 points remaining. Devon VERMEULEN (KTM) respected his statute of Championship runner-up, winning in style the first race of the event in front of Frenchman Frederic GUERIN (Suzuki). Even though GUERIN tried to make some moves onto VERMUELEN, KTM rider managed to lead from start to finish. Third finished Italian Diego MONTICELLI (Honda). Fulminant start by Frederic GUERIN (Suzuki) in the second race, followed in the first laps by German Jan DEITENBACH (Suzuki), Italian Diego MONTICELLI (Honda) and Devon VERMUELEN (KTM). Junior, S3, Open Supermoto EC in Sakaraya

The final round of UEM Supermoto European Championship SM Junior, S3 and OPEN was organized for the first time in Kenan Sofuoglu Racing Circuit in Sakarya, Turkey. In class SM Junior, the Turkish rider Harun Cabuk (Honda) made a good battle for the top finish on the podium with the other Turkish rider Asrin Rodi Pak (KTM), leaving Bulgarian rider Hakan Halmi (KTM) third in both races. The final standings for the year in the top three of this class are as follows: Champion is Harun Cabuk with 191 points, vice champion is Hakan Halmi with 170 points and bronze went for the Asrin Pak with 153 points. In class S3, the leader in the championship Mehmet Celik from Turkey with KTM was not in top form during the weekend and finally saw the second place on the podium but managed to win the European title for 2012 in class

The sunny circuit in Vransko (Slovenia) welcomed the third round of European Supermoto Championship classes SM Junior, S3 and OPEN with a newly built offroad section. In class SM Junior, the current leader in the championship Harun Cabuk (Honda) from Turkey had a hard battle with the new star from Austria, Kim Adlhart (KTM). Major part of this battle was the Bulgarian rider Hakan Halmi (KTM). Finally the podium was built by Halmi – third place with 42 points, Adlhart second with 45 points and Cabuk as winner with 47 points. After Vransko, Cabuk continues to lead the championship with 141 points, followed by Halmi with 130 points, third remains Pak with 109. In class S3, the Austrian rider Andreas Buschberger (KTM) had no difficulties in winning both heats, as well as the Turkish rider Mehmet Celik (KTM) to finish two times on the second place. S2 Supermoto EC in Ligneres

The fifth round of the Supermoto European Championship was held Saturday the 18th and Sunday the 19thof August in Lignères (Switzerland) with perfect weather conditions and without any serious accident. All the three heats were won by the Czech rider Peter Vorlicek (Honda), who become the 2012 European Champion with one round to go. In the Young trophy and the first heat was won by Italian Edgardo Borella (Yamaha) and the second and third one by the Dutch Devon Vermeulen (KTM), who leads now the provisional rankings with 233 points. Third round of Supermoto S2 EC in Rijeka

The Automotodrom Grobnik in Rijeka (Croatia) hosted the fourth round of the 2012 UEM Supermoto European Championship with 28 riders competing in class S2. The Championship leader Petr Vorlicek (Suzuki) from Czech Republic was the winner of the heat one on the new venue of the supermoto european championship races. He dominated also in the practice. In the first heat he was closely followed by Austrian rider Lukas Höllbacher, difference was one second and a half. On the third spot Dutch rider Devon Vermeulen finished. Rainstorms on Sunday, after the sunshine and very high temperatures of Saturday characterised the third round of 2012 S2 Supermoto European Championship in Pleven (Bulgaria). The first heat was won by the Czech rider Petr VORLICEK (HONDA) followed by the Italian Mattia MARTELLA (KTM) and the Dutch Devon VERMUELEN (KTM). The race has been characterized by the beautiful but unlucky performance of the British rider Chris HOGDSON (KTM) who was forced to retire for a problems to his rear wheel while he was leading the heat at one lap to the finish. A bright sunshine and summer temperatures welcomed last weekend all the participants of the second round of the 2012 UEM European Championship Supermoto in Pleven (Bulgaria). The event has been characterized by a very good number of riders, especially in the Junior Class with 22. In SM Junior Class, perfect race and victory for the Bulgarian rider Hakan Halmi (KTM) who took pole position on Saturday and two first places on Sunday, on the second place of the podium we found the Turkish red plate Harun Cabuk (HONDA) who collected two second positions in both the heats followed by the Bulgarian rider Veselin Ivanov (HONDA) with two third places. Vorlicek dominates Supermoto S2 EC round in Palermo

The second round of the class S2 of the Supermoto European Championship was held today at the Sicilian track of Palermo (Italy). In the first heat the Czech rider Petr VORLICEK (HONDA) confirmed his pole position of the Saturday making the hole shot, he managed the heat with wisdom obtaining also the fastest lap of the race. In second position finished Italian Edgardo BORELLA (YAMAHA) and third Mitchell-Thomas MALACHI (HONDA) from Great Britain who resisted in the last lap to the attacks of red plate Devon VERMUELEN (KTM) from Netherlands who finished fourth. The first event of 2012 UEM Supermoto European Championship started last weekend in Pleven for the classes SM Junior, S3 and Open with a good number of participants, especially in the Junior Class (15 riders). Saturday practices were held in bad rain conditions, following a 2 weeks non-stop rain in the region of Pleven. The all tarmac facility in Dolna Mitropolia-Pleven made it possible to organize the race. The circuit and its facilities were operational at highest possible level as usual, offering the riders and their teams a perfect playground to show their skills and competitiveness. Both heats in SM Junior Class were won by the Turkish rider Harun Cabuk (Honda), followed by another Turkish rider Asrrin Rodi Pak (Honda).
