Final three of Individual Speedway EC in Holsted (Denmark)

The 3rd Final of the 2014 FIM Europe Speedway European Championship (SEC) took part in Holsted (Denmark). Before the event a very heavy rain has made difficult the life of the organisers and riders. Due to the very hard and professional job of the organizing staff the track has got raceable one hour after the stop of the rain. The spectators have been very loyal and their premium was a nice and exciting race. There have been good fights and also surprises. At 80 % of the race program nearly half of the riders have been on the same points! The victory went to Russian Emil Sayfutdinov who has retorted for the Danish victory of last round in Russia. The runner up has been Danish Peter Kildemand and the current European Champion, Martin Vaculik of Slovakia has finished on the third place. The last round of the SEC will be

85 cc Youth Speedway Racing European Cup Final in Skaerbaek (Denmark)

 The FIME 85 cc Youth Speedway Racing European Cup has been held in Skaerbaek (DEN) in a track built especially for youngsters riding on bikes of this category. The meeting has gone very well. The foreign riders could not brake the Danish dominance even they tried to do that in hard fights. Public could see very good heats also in the Semi Finals and in the Final. Victory went to Kasper Andersen. Christian Thaysen on 2nd place and Mads Hansen on 3rd place has completed the race. All of them have represented DMU. Supermono European Cup round in Red Bull Ring, Spielberg (Austria)

The third round with two races of the FIM Europe Road Racing Supermono Cup was held this weekend at the Red Bull Ring - Spielberg / Austria. Friday was sunny and very hot, Saturday, the weather conditions was cloudy and later rain. The first race was won by Austrian Lukas Wimmer, followed by two Dutch riders Mike Velthujzen and Jerry Van de Bunt. Velthujzen managed to win in the second race in front of Wimmer and Dutch Ricard van Duijn. The provisional rankings see the leadership of Wimmer with 70 points, in front of German Frank Bruntrup with 54. Individual Speedway EC Final 2 in Togliatti (Russia)

The second Final of the 2014 FIM Europe Speedway European Championship (SEC) took part in Togliatti (Russia) on a nice evening of the 6th of July 2014. 9.000 spectators have seen a very spectacular, hard and fair speedway event. The atmosphere of the stadium was fantastic. Russian public was very keen. The SEC Final has been broadcasted live by EUROSPORT all over the world and was a perfect advertising for European Speedway sport. The victory went to Nicki Pedersen / Denmark followed by the local hero Emil Sayfutdinov and the Polish Patryk Dudek. Road Racing Hill Climbing EC round in St. Denis (Switzerland)

The third round with two races of the Road Racing Hill Climb European Championship was held this weekend at Chatel - St. Denis in Swiss. This event was held for the second time in Switzerland. On Saturday, the weather conditions was cloudy and later rain. Afternoon was strong rain and the practice on Sunday morning must be delayed for one hour. Superstock 600cc and RR Honda Junior Cup in Portimao (Portugal)

The 5th round of the Superstock 600 FIM-Europe Championship took place today on the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve (Portugal). Marco Faccani (San Carlo Team Italia Kawasaki) has won the fifth round of the European Superstock 600cc Championship and the third race in a row. After a close fight, Wayne Tessels (Wayne Racing Team) took the second place ahead of Federico Caricasulo (Evan Bros. Racing Team). The top six was completed by Illya Mikhalchik (Team Go Eleven) ahead of Richard Bodis (Talmacsi Racing) and Andrea Tucci (San Carlo Team Italia). Three riders went down in the first corner after the start of the race. All riders were uninjured. Third in the general Championship, Niki Tuuli (Kallio Racing Yamaha) did not finish the race due to technical problem. Team Speedway U21 EC final in Herxheim (Germany)

The Final in Team Speedway U21 European Championship took place in Herxheim, Germany on a warm and sunny afternoon. After 20 very exciting heats with good track conditions and on a very high sporting level the numerous spectators have seen the victory of a very strong team from Poland. Strong and hard but fair fight on the following places brought the result to see the team from Denmark on the second place on the day of DMU`s 100 years anniversary. Third place went to the team from Czech Republic and the young team Germany could only finish on the fourth place.
