EMX Quad European Championship: the season starts in Ukraina First seasonal race for the EMX Quad European Championship in Bucha, Ukraina. 18 riders from 12 different countries had a nice challenge in front of about 20 thousand spectators. Ruler of the weekend was the Estonian rider Kevin Saar, winner of both the two races. In Race1 second position for Zdenek Polacek from Czechy and third for Roman Gwiazda from Poland; while in Race2 Valerijs Kuzmins finished second in front of Christopeher Tveraen from Norway. EMX 65 / EMX 85 European Championship North East zone and EMX Open European Championship: second round in Lithuania

EMX 65 / EMX 85 European Championship North East zone and EMX Open European Championship: second round in Lithuania The second round of the EMX 65 / EMX 85 European Championship North East zone and the third of the EMX Open European Championship was held in Siauliai, Lithuania. Race1 of EMX 85 class saw a Latvian domination: the leader Edvards Bidzans won in front of Karlis Alberts Reisulis and Roberts Lusis. The second shot was ruled by young Latvian talent Edvardz Bidzans. Second position for Reisulis and third for Zakhar Osmolovski from Russia. Race 1 of EMX65 class was ruled by home rider Marius Adomaitis. Behind him Semen Rybakov from Russia and Reisulis. Race2 winner was Rybakov, followed by two Latvian: Tomass Saicans and Reisulis. Unfortunately, local hero Adomaitis crashed two times finishing 6th. Race1 EMX Open class had a great battle between Latvian rider Toms Macuks and Martin Michek

Sidecarcross of European Nations and Quadcross of European Nations Day 2 at Slagelse (Denmark)

Quads On a cool but sunny day with a large number of spectators, Team USA secured the overall win to retain the red plates with consistent performances of the 3 riders - Thomas Brown, Jeffrey Rastrelli and Chad Wienen - on 8 points with two first places for Wienen, two second places for Rastrelli and a second place for Brown in the 3 races. But they had to fight hard on the demanding track of Slagelse which proved difficult to overtake on. Team Ireland finished second on 39 points with the 3 riders, Justin Reid, Mark McLernon and Leon Rogers with some consistent high placings. Team Netherlands was third on 44 points with the team of Richardo Phoelich, Joe Maessen and Mike Van Grinsven but Van Grinsven had bad luck when leading the final race and suffering a machine failure. Team Norway was 4th just one point behind the Netherlands.

The Latvian town of Stelpe hosted the last round of the European Quad Championship of the seson, with 25 riders from 11 Countries ahead of around 5.000 spectators. On Saturday in the qualifying race the winner was Kevin Saar from Estonia, ahead of Christopher Tveraen from Norway and Roman Gwiazda from Poland. Today in Race1 the qualifying positions were maintained and Kevin Saar won ahead of Christopher Tveraen and Roman Gwiazda. In Race2 Kevin Saar won again, this time ahead of British Harry Walker and Emils Phoelich from Latvia. In the overall Kevin Saar won with 50 points, second was Harry Walker ahead of Ricard Phoelich, both with 38 poinnts. EMX Quad European Championship at Kivioli (Estonia)

The fifth round of EMX Quad was held at Kivioli, Estonia, with 15 riders from 9 Countries. The winner of the qualifying race was Christopher Tvaraen from NMF. With fine weather and perfect track conditions, racing was phenomenal as well. At the start the holeshot belonged to Christopher Tvaraen who was still on the front at the finish line. Second position for Kevin Saar ahead of Martin Adamson both from Estonia. Christopher Tvaraen won second race too, this time ahead of Harry Walker from ACU and home rider Martin Adamson. In the overall Christopher Tvaraen won ahead of Harry Walker and Martin Adamson. EMX Quad European Championship at Cieszyn (Poland)

The city of Cieszyn, in the beautiful county of Silesia, in Poland, hosted the fourth round of the EMX Quad European Championship, with the best riders of the Continental series at the start. The panoramic view of the motocross track attracted more than 4000 spectators in the whole weekend. On Saturday practice and qualifying race took place in good conditions and sunny weather. All photos by Alex Skoczek/X-Cross The winner of the day and first rider at the starting gate on Sunday was Polish Roman Gwiazda. Second position for Estonian rider Kevin Saar ahead of Harry Walker from Great Britain. The surface of the track on Sunday was prepared by the CKM Club Team Members and was good after track maintenance and evening watering. EMX Quad European Championship at Chernivtsi (Ukraine)

The beautiful track of Chernivtsi in Ukraine hosted the third round of the 2018 EMX Quad European Championship. Around 8.000 spectators packed around the track to welcome and enjoy their favorite riders, as to feel the spirit of the race. The weather, despite all forecast, turned out to be perfect during the whole weekend. Even though, the organizer did a massive job to maintain the good quality of the track. Polish rider Roman Gwiazda took a full advantage in the Qualifying Race and was leader the whole time. The fight was on for other two spots. Harry Walker from Great Britain managed to finish second and Kevin Saar from Estonia secured the third place. Sunday began with a chill, but turned out to a perfect day for racing. European Quadcross Championship at Castelnau de Levis (France) – Preview

The second round of European Quadcross will be held in the upcoming weekend at Castelnau de Levis, in France following to the first races in Oss, The Netherlands. In the first appointment of the season the fastest rider was the home-rider Mike Van Grinsven, who won both races and leads the series with full points. Second position in the general standings for Davy De Cuyper from Belgium, who gained a third and a second place in the two races. On the podium of the first round, also Joe Maessen from The Netherlands, who managed to finish race1 in second position but did not go further the sixth place on Race2.

Sidecarcross and Quadcross of European Nations at Cingoli (Italy)

Today the qualifications for tomorrow’s races in the Sidecarcross of European Nations and the Quadcross of European Nations were held on the beautiful and perfectly prepared track at Cingoli, in Italy. The sidecar qualification required a 40 minute timed session because there were less than 10 teams present. The Netherlands team posted the 2nd and 3rd fastest times, which gives them pole position for tomorrow’s races. With the 1st and 7th fastest times, France finished as 2nd best team with Belgium in 3rd place with 6th and 8th fastest times. The Great Britain team will start in 4th position with 9th and 11th fastest times. In the Quadcross of Nations, there were 3 races, one for each team rider, which were totally dominated by USA team. Each of their 3 riders easily won their individual qualification race showing riding skills never seen in Europe. The French team was second with

EMX ITP Quad European Championship at Markelo (The Netherlands)

The last race of the EMX Quad championship was held in Markelo, The Netherlands. In the week before the event there it was raining but in the racing day it was great sunny weather. Both races in the EMX Quad were dominated by Dutch rider Mike van Grinsven, who was leading from start to finish. Second in the first heat was Dutch rider Ricardo Phoelich and third was Jan Vlaeymans from Belgium. Kevin Saar finished fourth in the first heat and that was enough for him to win the European Quad Championship 2017. In the second heat second place went to Jan Vlaeymans ahead of Kevin Saar.
