Women and Youth Trial EC in Hvervenbutka (Norway)

German Franz Kadlec (Gas Gas) and British Emma Bristow (Sherco) got two convincing victories in the second round of the FIM UEM Youth and Women championship respectively, held at Hvervenbukta, south of Oslo, Norway. Both dominated in their classes making all their rivals to fight just for the runner up position. Kadlec, now finally sixteen years old , is the European Junior former champion and in his country nevertheless he is riding a 125 cc machine, he climbed the podium the week before in the top class. So he arrived here in great shape. He started soon very well scoring the best result in the first lap: just 8 points. But Italian Gabriele Giarba, Beta, was not distant: only 4 marks more. Second final of Individual Speedway EC in Togliatti (Russia)

The Speedway European Championship - SEC Final 2 was organized in Togliatti, Russia in the beautiful "Anatoly Stepanov Stadion" of Mega Lada club. The meeting was perfectly organized and surrounded by sunny weather as well as ideal track conditions. The stadion was completely "sold out" and more than 15.000 spectateurs have been part of an unforgettable speedway night. After 22 exciting and dramatic heats, victory was taken by the local hero Emil Sayfutdinov and runner up was Nicki Pedersen, Denmark. On the third place was Grigory Laguta, Russia who had a very strong meeting as well. The whole event was broadcasted live in Eurosport all over the world and was a massive advertising for the speedway sport. The provisional rankings see the leadership of Sayfutdinov with 27 points, closely followed by Pedersen with 24 points. Presentation of the Norway round of Trial EC in Hvervenbukta

The FIM Europe UEM Trial Championship enters its final phase with two Nordic events in the next two week-ends. First appointment is at Hvervenbukta, south of Oslo, Norway, exactly where in 1998 it was held a world championship round , in August, too. But none of the young generation engaged in disputing the current series was present at that time, for sure. There will be a whole week-end of competitions and the weather forecasts are not encouraging because rain is expected rain in both days. On Saturday again in the haunt the very young riders and the best European women to fight in their second round -out of three. It took more than two months since they met each other in the very wet round run at Tanvald in Czech Republic. Superstock 600cc European Championship and Junior Cup in Silverstone (Great Britain)

The sixth round of the Superstock 600cc and the 5th round of the Junior Cup were held this weekend in Silverstone (Great Britain). A shortened Superstock 600 Race 1 at Silverstone was won by Alessandro Nocco (San Carlo Team Italia Kawasaki) as the Italian rider leading when the red flag came out on lap number seven, after the collision that involved Swiss Bastien Chesaux (EAB Ten Kate Junior Honda) and Gauthier Duwelz (MTM-MVR Racing Yamaha), causing the Belgian to crash on the main straight. As the final results were based on the positioning at the end of lap six, Christian Gamarino (Team Goeleven Kawasaki) scored an incredible podium finish - and best career result so far - ahead of Chesaux and Franco Morbidelli (San Carlo Team Italia Kawasaki). EMX125 and EMX250 European Championship in Loket (Czech Republic)

Hosted at a circuit that’s been situated for more than forty years in the small picturesque town of Loket, the young generation of motocross stars lined up today for round six of the EMX250 European Chamionship and round five of the EMX125 series. Loving the old school circuit was yesterday’s ‘Group B’ Semi-Final EMX125 winner Nicolas Dercourt, who finally broke the winning streak of Pauls Jonass, while Anton Lundgren and Calvin Vlaandere completed the podium. In EMX250 Valentin Guillod dominated the whole race and Jeremy Seewer and Mike Kras were second and third. Fourth round of the MAXXIS EMX Quad EC in Kivioli (Estonia)

The fourth round of the MAXXIS EMX Quad EC took place on a perfectly prepared track at an organizer with high knowledge in MX Sport. The weather was perfect and got still warmer on Sunday (up to 25°). The Qualifying practice was won by the Championship Leader, Jeremie Warnia, FFM on his DWT in front of Latvian Edgars Mengelis, Yamaha, 1.451 sec behind, and in a distance of 1.309 sec to Mengelis Mike van Grinsven, KNMV, got third. In the EMX Quad, Heat 1, holeshot went to Olli Koskela, SML, Yamaha. After lap 1 Edgar Mengelis was in the lead, Koskela 2nd and Warnia already in the 3rd position. After 6 laps Warnia could overtake Mengelis and could keep first position over the remaining 12 laps. Mini Moto Road Race in Vransko (Slovenia)

The Mini Road Racing European Championship started on Friday the 02nd of August on the AMZS Center Varne Vozne in Vransko (Slovenia) with the free practice and the first qualifying and yesterday with the second qualifying and race one and race two. The final race was held today. All the event was held in extremely hot weather conditions, sunny 39° and no wind. Vintage Endurance at the European Classic Series (ECS)

The European Classic Series (ECS) is a 4 hour endurance race for classic motorcycles valid for the FIM Europe Endurance Vintage Cup. In a joint collaboration between the promoter, DG Sport, and the European ruling federation, FIM Europe, the 2013 series runs in 3 different circuits Imola, Spa-Francorchamps and Aragon. The motorcycles are divided in 4 different categories up to 1985. President of the Jury and responsible for the original idea is Massimo Mita from the FIM Europe Vintage Commission. He has created the rules and regulations that are designed in order to gather the machines in a logical historical sense and with the purpose to give the opportunity to race to all kinds of classic motorcycles. EMX65 and 85 SW Europe in Baldasserona (San Marino)

The fifth round of the EMX65 and EMX85 Motocross European Championship (South Western leg) was held in Baldasserona (San Marino). The race was held in sunny weather conditions: 39°C was the temperature of the day. The circuit, very well prepared and watered worked very well. This was the last race valid for the allocation of 10 positions in the championship to participate in the Great Britain final. In the 85cc, in the first heat Andrea Zanotti from San Marino (TM) started on top and maintained the leadership till the end flag, second position went to Italian Gabriele Oteri (TM) and third to Italian Tomas Ragadini (KTM). The last round of the North Eastern leg of the 65cc and 855 Motocross European Championship qualification leg was held today in Stelpe (Latvia). There were 20 riders to MX 85cc and 20 riders to MX 65cc. The competition was prepared on high level. Congratulations for to organizer and Latvian federation. First race of the EMX 85cc was won Tamur TALVIKU from Estonia, second was Jakub TERESAK from Czech Republic, and third was Hardi ROOSIORG from Estonia.
