Today the sixth-round Pata European Junior Cup, powered by Honda, race at Misano, Italy ended in dramatic style this afternoon with race and series leader Javier Orellana getting knocked off his Honda CBR650F just three corners from clinching the 2015 title. The Spanish rider led into the final lap knowing that victory in today’s 10-lap race at the 4.226km Misano World Circuit would allow him to secure the 2015 European Junior Cup with two rounds to spare. However, he was pursued hard by Italy’s Emanuele Pusceddu, who was placed fourth in the points table.As the leading pair hit the fast turn 12, Pusceddu lunged for lead but, instead, collided with Orellana, sending both riders into the gravel trap, thankfully unhurt.The race was consequently won by Italian Guiseppe de Gruttola, who celebrated his 20th birthday today in some style, with Alfonso Coppola finishing in second place, just six thousandths of a

Speedway European Championship in Torun (Poland)

Above, Nicki Pedersen, Tomasz Jędrzejak and Paweł Przedpełski.  Yesterday evening the inaugural round of Speedway European Championships series on the most modern stadium MotoArena in Torun was held. Over 9000 spectators could see the amazing actions into a fence, the fight on elbows for every centimeter of the track.Nicki Pedersen won the first round. In the big final the Danish rider was faster than Pawel Przedpelski, who rode in Torun as wild card. Third place for Emil Sajfutdinov, who was invicible in first five heats. European Honda 150 and EMX 250 in Teutschenthal (Germany) - Day 1

In EMX 250 the Belgian Damon Graulus  on Yamaha won the race before Steven Clarke on Husqvarna and Adam Sterry on KTM, both British.  Sterry arrived in Teutschenthal as leader of the championship classification and still maintains his position at the top of the standings, even if only with 5 point of advantage on today’s winner Graulus. In the Honda 150, Emil Weckman, current red plate holder, took his third win of the season in the Honda European 150 Championship at the MXGP of Germany today. The young Finn took the Holeshot and soon settled into the lead but was unable to relax as the top eight riders were separated by the smallest of margins for the first half of the race. Edgar Pons, poleman in Moto2 After yesterday's free practice, the real action of European Moto2 and Superbike Championships in Barcelona (Spain) has begun today at 9am. The weather gave little rest today with a pressing heat during almost the entire day. In Moto2 European Championship, the two riders of Yellow Pages HP 40 Junior Team were the main protagonists of the day. Since the first session no one has been able to overshadow Edgar Pons (SPA-Kalex), who has taken advantage of the cool morning to mark his best lap, stopping the clock at 1 minute, 46 seconds and 163 thousandths. Same strategy seems to have followed his teammate, Luca Marini (ITA-Kalex), who set the second fastest time, six tenths behind the poleman. PATA European Junior Cup champion elect Javier Orellana will start what could be a title win European Junior Cup race tomorrow from pole position after snatching the top spot in the closing stages of final qualifying from Italian riders Matteo Ciprietti  and Emanuele Pusceddu, who were 2nd and 3rd respectively, the trio making up the front row of the grid. Giuseppe de Gruttola (SK & Itaba Moto) will head row number 2 where he will be joined by Guillaume Raymond and Mika Perez.British Sam Wilford was looking more than capable of snatching a place on row 2 until he crashed on his final lap. European 600 Superstock Championship: the Italian round crowns the champion

  Federico Caricasulo (Pata Honda Junior Team) could hardly contain his delight at taking victory in today’s 13 lap FIM Europe Superstock 600cc race in front of his home fans at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli after timing his move for the lead almost perfectly on the penultimate lap. As ever the STK600 race was epic with in the early stages a group of ten swapping places at almost every turn. With 5 laps to go the leading group was now only 5 and headed by Michael Ruben Rinaldi (San Carlo Team Italia) who had to settle for 4th at the flag after being overtaken on the final two laps firstly by Caricasulo before Niki Tuuli (Kallio Racing) and Toprak Razgatliogliu (Kawasaki Puccetti Racing) who gave everything on the final lap to take the win, found their way past, taking 2nd and 3rd respectively after some incredible racing. Can Oncu (65) and his brother Deniz, leaders of the SM85 class The all asphalt SuperMoto circuit of Pleven in Bulgaria hosted the second round of the European SuperMoto Championship for the classes SM85 and S3. As usual the track offered perfect conditions for racing and the standard extreme temperatures of 40°C.The SM85 class this season is dominated by the Turkish twins Deniz and Can Oncu who proved to be the top class SuperMoto riders. Their podium in Pleven was not a surprise at all, however the two brothers repeated the Arad scenario from Round 1 and shared one win and one second place each in both heats.Deniz Oncu won the second heat ahead of his brother Can Oncu.
