Bajas European Championship: in Portugal the last race of the season
After round 1 in Portugal and round 2 in Poland, on 21st and 22nd September was raced in Idanha a Nova, Portugal, the last round of the Bajas European Championship.
Bad weather and low temperatures around 18° saved riders from dust and heat, making the race even more thrilling for spectators and fans.
On Saturday was raced the prologue and the first sector, for a total of 175 kilometres and about 2 hours of special test. On Saturday the second sector with about 1 hour and 10 minutes of race.
Both in motorbike and quad category the title went to Portuguese riders.
Championship leader Tiago Santos, from Portugal, ruled the race winning the bike title, while Roberto Borrego won in quad.
