Tragic accident in Cross Country European Cup in Vesivehmaa, Finland
On Sunday the Cross Country European Cup opening round in Finland had to be interrupted as a result of a serious accident in the first half of the three-hour race due to a serious accident.
Rider Antti Pendikainen lost the control of his bike and died at the accident site.
The organizer set up an investigation commission that is investigating about, but motorbike’s technical problems are excluded.
The FIM Europe takes part in the loss and the full sympathy goes out to his family.
