The first MX trainers meeting in Riga (Latvia), for the Northern region of Europe, was a great success. Eleven trainers out of 6 different Countries attended this meeting just before last weekend.

The meeting was based on the start up of a cooperation between local trainers in Europe and FIM Europe MXGP Academy. This to start with the certification of MX riders in the local Countries.
Academy trainers Jan Postema and Martin van Genderen were there, to start up this cooperation and education programme “Train the trainer” with the trainers. The target is to roll out the certification programme of the FIM Europe MXGP Academy, with the local trainers in several Countries in 2016. After this meeting, trainers who want to attempt, can start up the so called “MX-A diploma/certificate” for young riders next year.
“After the successful program of the MX Academy during the season in many Countries, the education of the trainers has started in Riga last weekend, the next version will take place in January in the Netherlands”, stated Martin de Graaff, Chairman of FIM Europe Sporting Council. “Federations which are interested in this training can contact FIM Europe. The team is prepared to educate trainers in many Countries all over Europe”.
