The 40th edition of the Hill Climb Event in Landshaag, Austria, was the first round of the Road Race Hill Climb European Championship. Despite uncertain weather conditions and low temperatures, about 12.000 spectators and 55 riders came to join the race.
In the practices the fastest riders were Guido Testoni (FMI) in 250, Daniel Kronschläger (AMF) in Supersport, Stefano Bonetti (FMI) in Superbike and Josef Frauenschuh (AMF) in Supermoto.
On Sunday there were Race 1 and Race 2 on dry conditions. The winners of the round are: Guido Testoni in 250, Rafael Neuner in Supersport, Andrea Gangl in Superbike and Josef Frauenschuh in Supermoto.
In Landshaag was raced also the Vintage Sidecar Hill Climb European Championship: the winner are Gundinger Roland and Gundinger Maria from Austria in 8A class, Neubauer Konrad and Stöbich Manuel from Germany in 8B clas, Greil Andreas and Greil Franco from Austria in 8C.
