Results of Nort-West Europe EMX65/EMX85 in Bielstein

The fourth round of the North Western EMX 65 and 85cc Motocross European Championship was held today in Bielstein (Germany) in sunny weather conditions.

The first heat of the EMX65 was won by the Dutch rider Raf Meuwissen (KTM) that dominated the most part of the race. The only worries came by the Danish rider Bastian Boegh Damm (KTM), who made the fastest lap of the race, but finished in second place. In the second heat, Meuwissen (NED) made the best jump start, but during the first lap fell down and ended up in the back position. The winner was the Dutch rider Raivo Dankers (KTM) who lead all the race; second Danish Bastian Boegh Damm (KTM); third Swedish Filip Olsson (KTM).

In the EMX85 the winner of the first heat was the German rider Tilo Wittlerbaumer (KTM). The best start and the best lap were made by Brian Hsu (Suzuki), but Wittlerbaumer won the race leading almost all the race. Third position for the Dutch rider Davy Pootjes (KTM). The second race saw the domination by Brian Hsu who jumped first on start, made the fastest lap and won the race. Second position for the German Wittlerbaumer and third for the Dutch Pootjes.

The provisional rankings see the in the EMX65 class two riders with the same points (153): Rasmus Hakansson and Filip Olsson. In the EMX85 class Davy Pootjes is the leader with 170 points closely followed by Tilo Wittlerbaumler with 169 points.

Next and last round of the North Western Zone is scheduled on the 17th of June in Schwedt (Germany).
