In sunny weather on the restaging date the Individual Speedway European Championship returned to the Russian city of Balakovo in front of a big crowd of around 8.000 spectators. The event had many exciting moments and it was mainly the competition between the Polish and Russian riders to keep high the emotions.
The final heat decided that two Russian riders qualified for the European Championship: Ilia Chalov won in front of Andrei Kudriashov, both from Russia, with Polish Krystian Pieszczek in third position. The best rider after the main event, Szymon Wożniak, finished in fourth position.
