The final of the European Road Racing European Championship was held today in the Spanish track of Albacete. The new European Champions for 2013 are Czech Karel Hanika (Moto3), Spanish Roman Ramos (Supersport 600) and Spanish Xavi Fores (Superstock 1000). Angel Poyatos (SPA, Yamaha) is new Junior Champion in Supersport 600, while Guillermo LLano (SPA, Kawasaki) is Junior Champion in the Superstock 1000 class.
The podiums are the following:
Moto 3: 1) Karel Hanika (CZE, KTM) 2) Bryan Schouten (NED, FTR-Honda) 3) Remy Gardner (AUS, KTM)
Supersport 600: 1) Roman Ramos (SPA, Kawasaki) 2) Stefan Kerschbaumer (AUT, Yamaha) 3) Michal Prasek (CZE, Yamaha) [Alberto Lopez (SPA, Yamaha) who was 3rd has been disqualified for technical reasons and Michal Prasek is therefore the 3rd classified]
Superstock 1000: 1) Xavi Fores (SPA, Ducati) 2) Carmelo Morales (SPA, Kawasaki) 3) Ivan Silva (SPA, BMW)
