The Dragbike European Championship started this weekend in the Swedish track of Tierp. On Friday was held only 1 qualifications round, as the race was called off beacuse of rain at 18,00. Saturday everything went well with 2 qualification rounds as in the program.
The winner in PSB class was German Karl-Heinz Weikum (Suzuki), runner up Swedish Ulf Øgge (Suzuki) and third Swedish Kalle Lyren (Suzuki). Winner in STB was Swedish Ulf Ledstrøm (Super Twin Top Fuel), runner up Finnish Vesa Lipponen (Dixie). Winner in TFB was Swedish Peter Svensson (Billet Racing), runner up is Swedish Rikard Gustafsson (Puma).
The second round is scheduled will take place from the 4th to the 7th of July in Alastaro (Finland).
