FIM Europe congratulates RFME new President

Manuel Casado has been elected new President of the Real Federación Motociclista Española (RFME) in the Extraordinary General Assembly held at the headquarters of Higher Sports Council in Madrid.
Manuel Casado has been elected with 81 votes in favour against 3 blank. He was born in Madrid on January 3, 1959 and is an entrepreneur in the aggregate and concrete sector.

He was active in the world of motorcycle as an Enduro and Trial rider, in 1975 he founded the Moto Club Cañada and was a member of the provincial delegation of Madrid in the Seventies.
Casado was a member of the Board of Directors of the RFME from 1988 to 2007, during which time he held the positions of treasurer, first economic Vice President, President of the Management Committee and responsible for trial.
In 2000 he founded the Moto Club Sotobike. He has also been promoter and coorganizer of the Spanish Trial Classic Cup during 2009 and 2010.
