European Supercross in Gdansk (Poland) – Preview

On 18th November riders from around Europe, together with guests from the USA will show up in Ergo Arena, at Gdansk/Sopot to fight for the European Champion title. Supercross will be held for the second time in Poland, and for the first time as a European Supercross Championship. The registration for riders is already available online.

For the last five years Ergo Arena hosted the best FMX riders competing in Freestyle Motocross World Championship – Diverse Night of the Jumps. This year, Sportainment Agency will present to the audience in Pomerania Supercross., which made its debut in Poland last year, in 2017, and which comes back at the highest possible level in Europe.

“We are happy to announce that Sportainment Agency has been chosen as a promoter of European Supercross Championships 2017-2019“, says Przemyslaw Szymanski of Sportainment.  “Starting with one round this year our goal is to build strong and competetive series with the most reliable local promoters and with the best riders fighting for a European Supercross Champion title. We want to bring new quality into this format”.

The crew will be international: Freddy Veherstraeten from Belgium will build a safe and challenging track, which will definitely be exciting for fans to watch, as well as for the riders to ride.

Contestants will be divided into four classes: Supercross (SX1), SX250, SX125 and SX85, together with the kids show race on the 65cc bikes. Some of the riders will show their skills in Best Whip contest with additional appearance from guest Freestyle Motocross riders who will show their craziest tricks. After all the races, the special act aims to leave the spectators speechless!
