The European Pairs Speedway Final was held at Lonigo (Italy) in front of 1800 spetactors in a sunny day. Nineteen riders were present, representing 7 teams.
Poland-Italy
It was an entertaining meeting with a lot of close racing and several passes, especially in the first half of the meeting.
Poland won the 2017 Pairs Championship dominating the meeting. The runner-up place went to Russia while France climbed on the last step of the rostrum.
Russia-Poland
The hosting Country Italy finished at the fourth place with Covatti scoring 12 points out of 15 of the total of the team.
