European EMX 65 and 85 and Women’s at Nestved (Denmark) – Day 2

For the final day of the EMX 65 and 85 North East Zone and Women’s European Championships, races started with cloudy weather and wet conditions on the track due to rain during the night. The organizers prepared perfect conditions for all classes.

EMX 85
Race1 presented a great battle for first the positions. Home rider Magnus Smith lead from start to finish. Qualifying winner of group A Jett Lawrence from Australia made a mistake at the start and had to fight to get back to his position. And the end he managed to finish second in front of German rider Constantin Piller.
In Race2 Jett Lawrence did not disappoint and won in front of Magnus Smith. Third position for Rasmus Pedersen from Denmark.
The Overall winner is Jett Lawrence, in front of Magnus Smith and Kay De Wolf.

EMX 65
In Race1 Ivano Van Erp from The Netherlands and home rider Mats Fredsoe engaged a great fight for the first step of the podium. At the end Ivano Van Erp was the winner in front of Mats Fredsoe. Three riders were in fight for the last place on the podium. At the end Czech rider Matej Skorepa finished third.
In Race2 Mats Fredsoe was the winner in front of Sacha Coenen from Belgium and of Danish rider Nicolai Skovbjerg.
The overall winner is Mats Fredsoe, ahead of Matej Skorepa and Ivano Van Erp.

EMX Women
Home rider Sara Andersen won Race1 after a hard battle with Mathea Selebo from Norway and Emelie Dahl from Sweden.
In Race2 after a bad start of Sara Andersen, Emelie Dahl managed to wint in front of the Sanish rider. Third position for Shana Van Der Vlist, from The Netherlands.
The overall winner of the day is Sara Andersen. Emelie Dahl and Mathea Selebo completed the podium of the day.
