European Hill Climb Championship at Spoleto (Italy)

In the beautiful surroundings of Spoleto (Italy) the second round of European Hill Climb Championship was held ahead of 600 spectators.
The whole event was in a very friendly “Italian lifestyle” atmosphere, together with the FMI National Championship. The riders taking part to the European series were 23.

The free practices were held on Friday without any serious problems as well as the official practices and qualications on Saturday and today. The races took place in two heats for all riders under good weather conditions for the first race while it was wet for the second race.
The winners of the day in the European Championship Classes are: Class 250 GP – Guido Testoni (FMI); Class Supersport 600: Davide Lignite (FMI); Class Superbike 1200: Jean Luc David (FFM); Class Supermoto: Philippe Bongard (FMS).
The next round of the Championship will be held in Julbach – Austria in the weekend of 16-17 June.
