EMX65, EMX 85 NE and EMX Women at Strykow (Poland)

The beautiful track of Strykow in Poland hosted the third round of the 2018 EMX Women European Championship and the last round of EMX 65 and EMX 85 North East zone. Around one thousand spectators gathered around the track to welcome and enjoy their favorite riders and feel the spirit of the race. The weather, despite all forecast and rain, turned out to be perfect during the whole weekend. Even though the organizer did a massive job to maintain the good quality of the track.

On Saturday Danish rider Sara Andersen did an outstanding job at the Qualifying Race in EMX Women and was in the leadership the whole time. Just right behind her was Shana Van Der Vlist from The Netherlands with around 12 seconds from Sara. The third place was taken by Mathea Selebo from Norway.
In EMX 65 the leader after qualifying was Janis Martins Reisulis from Latvia. Second place for Semen Rybakov from Russia and third place for Marius Adomaitis from Lithuania.
In EMX 85 the first three places were taken by Estonian riders – Martin Michelis, Romeo Karu and Mikk Martin Lohmus.


Sunday began with some rain, but eventually everything turned out well and all races took place.
In EMX 85 the winner is a rider from Estonia – Martin Michelis, just behind him two Russians riders Alexey Orlov as second and Daniil Kesov as third.
The winner of EMX 65 class is Semen Rybakov from Russia. Second place was taken by Janis Martins Reisulis from Latvia and just after Janis finished Romeo Pikand from Estonia.
In EMX Women, after a crash and heroic chase Sara Andersen managed to recover her position and finished first. Afyet Shana Van Der Vlist’s mistake, Mathea Selebo from Norway finished in second position ahead of Lynn Valk from The Netherlands.
