EMX 65 / EMX 85 European Championship South West zone: 3rd round in Portugal

Fernao Joanes in Guarda, Portugal, hosted the 3rd round of the EMX 65 / EMX 85 European Championship South West zone on a technical hardpack track.
In EMX85 the qualifying race was won by the French Prugnieres Quentin in front of the Spanish Canet Edgard and Puig Victor. Thrilling the EMX65: the Spanish Joel Canadas and the French Cayenne Danion changed places 15 times from start to finish, followed by another Spanish rider, Jose Zambudio.
EMX 85 race 1 was ruled by qualifying winner Prugnieres, while second position for Maxime Grau. Situation unchanged at the end of the race. The Italian Valerio Lata took the 3th position in the last corners and arrived in front of the Spanish Victor Puig.
Double victory for Prugnieres, who won also the second heat leading form the start to the end. The Spanish Puig and the Italian Lata finished 2nd and 3rd.
EMX 65 first heat is won by the Frech Cayenne Danion in front of the Spanish Canadas Joel, who passed Jose Zambudio in the last lap. Pre-round leader Cardineau finished 6th.
Canadas Joel, qualifying winner, got the holeshot and stayed in front for the whole second heat. Second and third position for Pigois and Danion.
