Double win by Gajser in the EMX 125cc in Agueda

The Slovenian Tim Kaiser won both heats of the third round of the 125cc 2 stroke Motocross European Championship held today in Agueda (Portugal).

The track conditions were tougher for the young riders due to the rain, but it did not stop Tim Gajser (KTM) to dominate the first heat of the race, arriving in front of Dutch Calvin Vlaanderen (KTM) and Norwegian Magne Klingsheim (KTM).

Tim Gajser took the holeshot of the second heat and easily opened a big gap with his pursuers. The Slovenian rider crossed the finish line 47 seconds ahead of the second classified James Dunn (KTM) and obtained the third overall round victory of the season.

The provisional rankings see the leadership of Slovenian Tim Gajser with 150 points, followed by Italian Davide Bovini with 106 points and Dutch Calvin Vlaanderen with 102 points.

The fourth round is scheduled to be held on Sunday the 17th of June in Bastogne (Belgium).
