European Supermoto S2 & S4 at Busca (Italy)

In warm and sunny weather conditions, the track of Kart Planet in Busca was ready to host the third round of the 2017 S2 European Supermoto Championship.  TM Factory rider Thomas Chareyre took the overall victory and the red plate back in the S2 class. In the S4 class L30 Honda Racing rider Kevin Vandi took the victory and, more important, the first S4 European Championship title. S2 When the lights dropped for the first race in Busca, it was defending World Champion and TM Factory rider Thomas Chareyre who took the hole shot into the first fast corner, followed by BRT SWM rider Marc-Reiner Schmidt, TM Factory rider Diego Monticelli and Tuning Motorsport rider Milan Sitniansky. In fifth position it was Suzuki Grau rider Petr Vorlicek, who snatched his first race in the S2 Championship this year. Not all riders got through the first combination of corners. SBD Union

European Supermoto S4 at Albaida (Spain) - Day 2

In hot and sunny conditions the first Grand Prix of the FIM SuperMoto World Championship started in Albaida, Spain. Spectators were already early present alongside the beautiful race track to enjoy the races. For the new S4 class it was the second Round of the 2017 European Championship. Spanish rider Sergio Munoz won both races in Albaida in front of Jorge Climent and Anthony Ford-Dunn. After the technical control in race two, the Spanish rider was put back five positions due to a technical issue with his bike, making him sixth in race two. British rider Anthony Ford-Dunn won the second race of the season with a third and second place in the races. Under a blistering hot Spanish sun and high temperatures, today at the Circuito d’Albaida in the provence of Valencia the second round of the European Supermoto S4 Championship is being held. Spanish home rider Sergio Munoz was in all free practices the fastest. Also in the time practice the young Spanish wildcard rider was the fastest with a time of 34:051. Anthony Ford-Dunn took second position and Jorge Climent completed the top three. Championship leader L30 Racing rider Kevin Vandi will start the race of tomorrow from 9th position.

In very warm and hot weather of more than 30 degrees the conditions on the Sparta Racing Circuit were challenging for men and machines. TM Factory Racing rider Diego Monticelli took his first win in 2017 and the Red Plate in the S2 Championship after some epic racing in Greece. Under a very warm Greek sun the second race of the 2017 S2 European Championship is held at the Sparta Motul Racing Circuit in the famous town Sparta in the region of Peloponneso, Greece. With all the top riders present in Sparta and in combination with the flowing lines of the racetrack, there will be some tight racing this weekend in front of the Greek spectators. The track of Pleven, in Bulgaria, hosted the European round of Supermoto S3 and Junior in front of 1000 spectators and with arounf 12 degrees and rainy weather. S3 Qualification was won by Hakan Halmi (KTM, BUL) with a time of 1:29:310, who made a gap of 2.2 secs to the runner up Alex Dimitrov (KTM, BUL) with 1:31:588. Third was the rookie for the class Dimitar Petrov (KTM, BUL) with 1:33:316. The Qualifying practice for S3 was red flagged 12 minutes after its start due to thunderstorm and very heavy rain. Sunday's weather was cold (10-12 degrees) with rain through the whole day which resulted in more complicated racing conditions. In warm and sunny weather conditions and a perfect track, Ottobiano Motorsport Park was ready for the first race day of the 2017 European Supermoto Championship. Under clear blue and sunny skies, the first race of the 2017 SuperMoto European Championship season started in Ottobiano, Pavia, Italy. Pista South Milano is one of best well equipped venues in Europe for Supermoto races. With fast straights, tight corners and a challenging off-road section there is plenty of action for the spectators. European Supermoto: the 2017 season is about to start in Italy

After a long winter break, the 2017 FIM Supermoto European Championship season is about to start this weekend at Ottobiano, Italy. The famous Ottobiano Motorsports Park in the city of Pavia will host the first race of the European Championship, an venue which already hosted many events in the past and is one the best utilized circuits in Europe. Biggest change for this year’s season is the separation of the FIM Supermoto European and World championship races. The European championship rounds are open for all riders so not only for last season’s S2 class, but also for the S1GP riders. At the start in Italy the new S4 class will make its debut as well. Supermoto S2 European Championship at Poznan (Poland) Day 2

In cloudy and later sunny warm conditions Milan Sitniansky took his first win of the season in the S2 European championship. After the rain in the morning the first race of the day in the S2 class started under cloudy weather conditions. The organisation did a great job and prepared the off-road section so that it could be used for the race. When the light dropped it was TMS Honda rider Milan Sitniansky who took the holeshot, before Union Bike TM rider Giovanni Bussei who was back after his injury. Behind Bussei it was TM Factory Racing rider Diego Monticelli who took third place before current European championship leader Petr Vorlicek. Gazza Racing rider Luca Ciaglia completed the top five.
