Supermoto Junior and S3 European Championships at Pleven (Bulgaria)

The track of Pleven, in Bulgaria, hosted the Supermoto Junior and S3 European Championships SM Junior, Race 1: The first race of the SM Junior class started with a holeshot of Viktor Neychev (BUL, BMF), who faced a lot of pressure from Ares Stefan Bengic (TMF, KTM) during the whole race. At the checkered flag however, the Bulgarian managed to assure his win with a ten seconds gap ahead of his rivals. Bengic finished second. The fight for the third position was a great battle among 5 riders which: Kristian Ivanov (BMF, KTM), Radostin Mihaylov (BMF, KTM), Jan Ulman (ACCR, Kawasaki), Hristian Georgiev (BMF, KTM) and Ivan Mosin (MFR, TM). The five riders constantly changed positions during the 8 laps race, but at the very last corner Ivanov managed to overtake Mihaylov from the outside, thus securing the third place for the race. Supermoto European Championship at Albaida (Spain) - Day2

With the sun out and some light clouds in the region of Valencia, Albaida was ready for the race day of the second round of the Supermoto European Championship. Spectators already found their way early to the track to enjoy the action. With the big jumps in the off-road section and the great overview from the grandstands the crowd loved every minute of the event. In the S1 class it was TM Factory Racing rider Thomas Chareyre to take his second victory of the season, while in the Lites category the victory went to Phoenix Racing rider Elia Sammartin. Race 1 The first race in Albaida started at 12:00 with 27 riders on the grid. At the start it was TM Factory Racing rider Thomas Chareyre to take the hole-shot into the first long fast corner of the circuit, followed by Phoenix Racing rider Markus and Degasoline rider Pavel Kejmar.

Supermoto European Championship at Albaida (Spain) - Day1

In sunny, partly cloudy but warm weather conditions the second round of the 2018 Supermoto European Championship season started in Albaida in the region of Valencia, Spain. Circuito d’Albaida has one of the most spectacular off-road sections in the Championship. A combination with the tight and fast corners of the track, makes that there is always action during the practice sessions and races in Albaida. TM Factory Racing rider Thomas Chareyre took his second pole position of this season and will start from first place on the grid. Free practice 1 On Saturday morning 27 riders started the first free practice in Albaida. Most riders had already free practices yesterday so straight from the start of the session all riders had a fast pace, it didn’t take long before everyone had a fast pace in this session. European Supermoto S1 at Ottobiano (Italy) – Day2

With the sun out and some light clouds in the region of Pavia, Sunday race day in Ottobiano started promising. The large number of riders and the great overview on the grandstand at Ottobiano Motorsport attracted already a big number of spectators towards the track. With the circuit perfectly prepared the riders couldn’t wait to start the first round of the 2018 Supermoto European Season. In the S1 class it was TM Factory Racing rider Thomas Chareyre who took the victory. Race 1 When the lights dropped for the first time this season in Ottobiano, it was SWM Factory rider Mauno Hermunen to take the holeshot into the first fast corner of the circuit. Under cloudy and cold but dry weather conditions, the first round of the 2018 Supermoto European Championship season has started in Ottobiano in the region of Pavia, Italy. The Ottobiano Motorsport park is one of best well equipped venues in Europe for Supermoto races. With fast straights, tight corners and a challenging off-road section there is plenty of action for the spectators and riders. At the opening round it was TM Factory Racing rider Thomas Chareyre who took first pole position in 2018. Free practice On Saturday morning all 40 entered riders were divided into two groups via a ballot system. The first group of riders started their free practice session in the morning. In wet and cold weather conditions on Sunday, the Wachauring in Melk was ready to start the final round of the European Supermoto Championship. The rain during the day made the highspeed racetrack in the hills of Austria even more challenging for the riders, but the experienced crew of Melk managed to prepare the track perfectly. Despite the bad weather, the spectators came to the track to enjoy the Supermoto action. In cloudy and cold weather conditions the final round of the European Supermoto Championship started today with the free and timed practices at the Wachauring in Melk in the region of Lower Austria. For the high speed track with its two fast off-road sections it is the third time that they are the host of this event. The venue in Melk is one of best equipped in Europe with a great view for the spectators alongside the track. Championship leader TM Factory Racing rider Thomas Chareyre (in the photo ©BTProm) took the last pole position of the 2017 season. With his pole position the Frenchman takes a big step towards taking the double this year. European Supermoto Championship at Kjustendil (Bulgaria)

After the cancellation of the round of the SM Junior and S3 classes in Sosnova, an experimental double race weekend was made for the first time in the European Supermoto Championship. The weather was hot and there were around 1.000 spectators. The two days event hosted the standard free practices and qualifying, but also 2 heats per day scoring points for FIM Europe. The venue at Kjustendil, Bulgaria, is an all asphalt facility and the good weather contributed to the nice 2 days of Supermoto racing. The timed practices in both days were won by Kristian Ivanov (SMJ, KTM, photo1)) and Hakan Halmi (S3, KTM, photo2). European Supermoto S2 & S4 at Busca (Italy)

In warm and sunny weather conditions, the track of Kart Planet in Busca was ready to host the third round of the 2017 S2 European Supermoto Championship.  TM Factory rider Thomas Chareyre took the overall victory and the red plate back in the S2 class. In the S4 class L30 Honda Racing rider Kevin Vandi took the victory and, more important, the first S4 European Championship title. S2 When the lights dropped for the first race in Busca, it was defending World Champion and TM Factory rider Thomas Chareyre who took the hole shot into the first fast corner, followed by BRT SWM rider Marc-Reiner Schmidt, TM Factory rider Diego Monticelli and Tuning Motorsport rider Milan Sitniansky.
