Supermoto S2 European Championship and S Open European Supermoto Cup: Diego Monticelli and Mickael Amodeo takes the vicotries in S2 and S Open After a thrilling opening round three weeks ago in Castelletto, the 2nd round of the S2 and Open European Championship took place at the International Circuit of Abruzzo in Ortona. The track in the region of Abruzzo near the Adriatic Sea has very fast corners, long straight and technical off-road which makes it a challenge for not only the riders, but also for the bikes and tyres. S2/S Open Race 1 First race of the S2/Open class started on Saturday. At the start it was TM Factory Racing rider Diego Monticelli who took the holeshot into the first corner of the track, followed by Mickael Amodeo and Axel Marie-Luce on his Kawasaki. Supermoto European Championship: Pleven crowns the 2020 champions The final 2 rounds of the FIM Europe SuperMoto Championship for the SM Junior and S3, as well as the European SuperMoto Senior Cup, were held last weekend at the circuit of Dolna Mitropolia, in the city of Pleven, Bulgaria. These two rounds (from a total of 3) were of the highest importance for the riders, as in the beginning of the year, a special COVID rule was implemented in the regulations, allowing the riders to miss a whole round (due to the travel restrictions) and this would have not impacted they year’s standing. In other words, two worst results had to be subtracted for their total score, having in mind that nonparticipation is also counted as “worst” result. Supermoto S2 European Championship and S Open European Supermoto Cup: the season starts in Castelletto di Branduzzo, Italy After a long pause due to the international health situation, the first round of the Supermoto S2 European Championship and S Open European Supermoto Cup finally took place in Italy at the Motodromo of Castelletto di Branduzzo. Race 1 With a strong field of riders, the battle for the title in completely open. In the practices and time practices Diego Monticelli, from TM Factory Racing showed he as to man to beat this weekend. Supermoto European Championship: the season starts in Bulgaria First round in Pleven, Bulgaria, for the Supermoto European Championship. The SM Junior was ruled by the Czech Jan Ulman, who led both the races with the second heat red flagged due to the heavy rain. Second position for Jivko Ivanov and third for Nikola Nikolaev, respectively second and third in race1 and race2 too. In S3 class one victory for Hakan Halmi and one for Radostibn Mihaylov: with technical problem for Halmi in race2, Mihaylov took the overall win ahead Viktor Neychev. In the Senior class amazing double win for Krasen Kanchev, who is 42 years old. Second position for Vladislav Dimitrov and third for Biser Asenov. The next race will be on September 13th in Greece.

Supermoto S3 and Supermoto SM Junior: season finale in the Czech Republic Season finale for the Supermoto S3 and Supermoto SM Junior in Vysoke Myto, in the Czech Republic. Supermoto SM Junior In Race1, at his home race, Jan Ulman (TM) had no issues in securing a start to finish lead and correspondingly win of the first race in the junior class. With safe and stable riding, the Czech rider finished ahead of the Estonian Aksel Partelpoeg (Husqvarna) with a difference of 1.6 secs. Third place for the Russian Ivan Mosin (TM) who crashed in the off-road section and could not reach the leaders. In Race2 Ulman repeated the start to finish lead and won proving to be the fastest Junior rider in season 2019 with 8 heats victories and 200 points. Supermoto S2 European Championship: the title goes to Chareyre With the sun out over the mountains of the Piemonte region, Sestriere, Italy, was ready for the final round of the 2019 S2 Supermoto European Championship season. With the last preparations done on the track in the heart of the Italian Alps, teams and riders were ready for some racing action. The sunny, cold but good weather conditions made that the people came already early to race track to find a perfect spot in the hills with its stunning views over the track and the mountain. After two spectacular races, full of action and tension it was TM Factory Racing rider Thomas Chareyre who took the overall victory and the 2019 S2 Supermoto European championship title in style. Supermoto SM Junior and Supermoto SM3: third round in Bulgaria Third round for the Supermoto SM Junior and Supermoto SM3 on 01st September in Pleven, Bulgaria. SM Junior In race1 championship leader Jan Ulman let no surprise winning with a safe gap in front of Russia rider Ivan Mosin, second. Local hero Radistin Mihaylov, second in qualifying, finished third. In race2 another great start for Ulman, while Mosin and Mihaylov started to fight for the second position. At the end Mosin had the best finishing second in front of Mihaylov. Overall standing of the day: Jan Ulman, Ivan Mosin, Radostin Mihaylov. S3 Bulgarian riders Viktor Neychev, Kristian Ivanov and Dimitar Petrov ruled the round getting the first, the second and the third position both in race1 and in race2. Supermoto S2: Chareyre rules in Spain The next to last round of the Supermoto S2 European Championship was raced on Saturday 24th in Forcarei, Spain. Race 1 In the late afternoon the lights dropped for the first race of the S2 Supermoto European Championship in Forcarei. In perfect weather conditions it was TM Factory Racing rider Thomas Chareyre who took the hole shot into the first corner of Circuito A Madalena. Chareyre was followed by Phoenix Racing riders Markus Class, Nicolas Cousin, Elia Sammartin and Milan Sitnianksy. In sixth position it was the leader of the Junior Cup, German Husqvarna rider Jannik Hintz, who was followed by the leader of Lites Cup, Birba Racing rider Gioele Filippetti. In front Thomas Chareyre immediately started to set fast lap times, which pushed the competitions to its limits. In lap three, the main rival of Chareyre,  Markus Class made a mistake and crashed

Supermoto SM Junior and Supermoto S3: the second round in Estonia The second round of the Supermoto SM Junior and Supermoto S3 European Championship was raced on 28th July in Tabasalu, Estonia. SM Junior In Race1 poleman Jan Ulman won after a nice fight against Aksel Partelpoeg, who crashed finishing second. Crash for Ossi Rantala too, who succeeded in ending third. In Race2 Ulman took a hole shot: Partelpoeg tried his best to overtook him but at the end he was second, while Rantala took a double third. S3 In Race1 first and second position for Denis Flighr and Kristjan Siilak, penalized for jumping the yellow flag taking the points of the third and the fourth. In Race2 local championship started together and a crash with the red flag caused a second start. At the end Denis Fligr finished first in front of Kristjan Siilak.

Supermoto S2 European Championship: Thomas Chareyre takes his third victory of the season With the sun out and temperatures rising to a blistering 38 degrees the third round of the 2019 S2 Supermoto European Championship was held on 30th June in Poland on the racetrack of Tor Poznan in the region of Greater Poland. The track with its long very fast corners and technical off-road part hosted the European championship multiple times and the races are always full of action and speed for the spectators alongside the circuit. After a hot day of racing it was TM Factory Racing rider Thomas Chareyre who took his third victory of the season in Poznan.
