S4 Race 1 With a tremendous start, Alex Jimenez Ruiz (L30 Racing TM Factory) took control of the S4 Race 1 soon after the start, chased by Francisco Requena Gomez (Husqvarna) and Kevin Vandi (L30 Racing TM Factory). The second lap saw a dramatic turn of events when Ruiz slipped, and Vandi took advantage of the situation to overtake Gomez and move up to first place. Supermoto SM Junior: Matej Kokes is the new champion In the last round of the Supermoto SM Junior European Championship, raced in Carole, France, Matej Kokes (Husqvarna) was crowned new Champion at the end of a great day of racing. The young Czech rider finished ahead of Mathias Vatkin (TM) and Ramon Godino (Yamaha). SM Junior Race 1 Matej Kokes (Husqvarna) pulled away at the start and opened a solid gap over rivals in the first laps. The Czech rider pushed hard in the first part of the moto without sparing himself while he took it easy in the last laps. Behind him Mathias Vetkin (TM), Jason Van Drunen (Yamaha) and Ramon Godino (Yamaha) battled it out and crossed the finish line in the same order. Supermoto S4 and SM Junior European Championship: Alex Ruiz is the new S4 European Champion The track of Castelletto di Branduzzo hosted an intense racing day which was full of emotions. Alex Ruiz Jemenez (L30 Racing TM Factory) was crowned Supermoto S4 European Champion, while in SM Junior Mathias Vetkin won the next to last event. S4 Race 1 Alessandro Morosi (Gazza Racing Honda) stretched away at the front as the red lights blinked off and was followed by Kevin Vandi (L30 Racing TM Factory), who was not able to get the best out of his third position. SM & S3 Junior European Championship: double round in Bulgaria Fantastic and renowned all-asphalt Supermoto track in Pleven, Bulgaria, best S1GP venue for a number of seasons in a row, was the host of the last rounds of the 2022 S3 Junior European Championship and rounds 3 and 4 of the SM Junior European Championship, under the perfect organization of the Bulgarian Motorcycle Federation. The weather conditions were very unfriendly on Saturday with rain, however the weather turned better on Sunday. Saturday’s round of SM Junior started with a clear win of Czech rider Matej Kokes (HUQVARNA) in Race 1, who managed to build and maintain a good gap to second place Estonian rider Mathias Vetkin (TM). S3 & SM Junior European Championship Vysoké Myto, Czech Republic, hosted the second round of the SM Junior European Championship and the first one of the S3 European Championship. Local hero Matej Kokes won with ease both heats, followed by the German Lasse Welsch. SM Junior In race1 rider Matěj Kokeš riding for MIRA Racing Team on Husquarna was going to stay as dominant as throughout the whole Saturday. However, since the very start there were no hesitations anymore. Kokeš, who has benefited from the perfect knowledge of his local circuit, managed to start well, and was stretching the lead ever since until the end of the race, lapping first rider already after 5 laps. Supermoto S4 & SM Junior European Championship: Alex Ruiz-Gimnez and Ramon Godino win in Spain Second round for the Supermoto S4 and first one for the SM Junior European Championship in Alcarras, Spain. With the sun out, the spectators found their way to the to Circuit and enjoyed some action full and fast races in the S4 class and the SM Junior class. The overall victory in the S4 class went to Spanish L30 Racing TM Factory rider Alex Ruiz-Gimenez who extends his lead in the championship. Supermoto S4 European Championship: the season starts in Italy First race day of the season for the Supermoto S4 European Championship in Busca, Italy. S4 Race 1 The first race of the Sunday was for the S4 class. At the start it was L30 Racing TM Factory rider Alex Ruiz-Gimenez who took the hole-shot into the first fast corner of the Circuito Internazionale di Busca. Second place was for the teammate of Ruiz, Kevin Vandi who was in his turn followed by FRT2 Racing rider Marco Malone. Fourth place was for Gazza Racing rider Giorgio Cravotto but a small mistake in the first lap made him fall back to last place in the race. In front the two teammates were fighting and already in lap two Vandi overtook Ruiz-Gimenez for the lead with Malone not far behind. Lap after lap the three were battling for every meter of asphalt.
