European 250cc Pairs Speedway Championship: Denmark rules the second round After the first round in Slovenia, the second round of the European 250cc Pairs Speedway Championship was raced at Autoexperten Arena in Motala, Sweden. Even if the race was delayed due to the weather conditions, the event confirmed a great show with lots of fight, fights and emotions. This time Team Denmark won ahead of Poland at the end of a tough final heat. Third position for Sweden after beating Germany in the B final. SEC Starting list for the round in Güstrow Riders have been assigned their numbers for the second round of the TAURON SEC, which will take place on the fifth of August at the Güstrow track. In the first race of the competition, four riders will line up under the tapes for which It’s going to be their first TAURON SEC event in this year, namely Dominik Kubera, Andreas Lyager, Janusz Kołodziej, and Grzegorz Zengota. They were forced to withdraw from the opening round in Częstochowa due to injuries. Dimitri Berge drew number seven. Will the French rider be able to repeat his phenomenal performance from the first round and secure his position at the top of the series? He will start from the second gate in his first race. His rivals will be Jan Kvech, Adam Ellis and Antonio Lindbåck. The series leader, Leon Madsen, will compete with number 14.

European 250cc Pairs Speedway Championship: first race in Slovenia The first round of the 250cc Pairs Speedway Championship was raced in Krsko, Slovenia, in perfect weather conditions on Sunday 2nd July as the original date of 1st July was postponed because of the heavy rain. 8 national pairs and two mixed teams divided into two groups battled for the top three places of their groups to secure places in Finals C, B and A. In a thrilling day with exciting battles, the young up and coming riders showed great skills and teams qualified into finals C, B and A, that were not decided until the last races in their groups. SEC: Madsen begins the march to defend the title Final1 of the SEC – Speedway European Championship, took place on June 17th in Częstochowa, Poland. The start of the competition was not easy for the current European Champion Leon Madsen. However, after an unsuccessful first race where he finished in third position, he found his rhythm. Alongside his compatriot, Mikkel Michelsen, he led the classification after the heat stages, accumulating thirteen points. The Częstochowa track allowed for intense battles right from the first race. Adam Ellis proved this by securing three points in the opening race with a successful outside attack. Unfortunately for the Englishman, his subsequent performances were only worse.
On a positive note, Niels Kristian Iversen impressed the gathered fans. The Danish rider, who competed in Częstochowa as a replacement for the injured Grzegorz Zengota, made the most of the opportunity given to him by fate. He finished in

European Under23 Team Speedway Championship: Germany hosted the QR The Qualifying round of the European Under23 Team Speedway Championship took place in Stralsund, Germany. The city is located at the southern coast of the Strelasund, a sound of the Baltic Sea separating the island of Rügen from the Pomeranian mainland. In a sunny day Teams from the Czech Republic, Great Britain, Sweden and Germany fought to qualify for the Final. In the end, the tournament was won by the Swedish team, which beat the Czech team by 9 points. Third place went to the UK team. Jan Kvech (Czech Republic) was the best rider of the day with 13 points. Casper Henriksson was awarded the mayor's prize for his victory in the final race, in which the top competitors competed. Antonio Lindbaeck from Sweden fought for a spot in the SEC Challenge in Hungary and competed in additional races. In the end, he lost the competition to Andreas Lyager, but fans of this fierce rider can rest assured. The bronze medalist of SEC in the 2015 season will join the lineup of TAURON SEC 2023. In Częstochowa, Guestrow, Bydgoszcz, and Pardubice, we will also see Andzejs Lebedevs from Latvia. The 2017 European champion needs no special introduction. Individual Speedway Euro Championship: Berge wins SEC challenge In Nagyhalasz, Hungary, we finally met the next five participants of the SEC - Individual Speedway Euro Championship. Dimitri Berge, Kacper Woryna, Jan Kvech, Grzegorz Zengota and Andreas Lyager advanced to the series and will fight for the title of Individual European Champion. The Frenchman sealed his promotion already in the fourth series, when he reached the finish line first for the fourth consecutive time and got 12 points. He recorded his first defeat only in race 19, in which he was third. Promotion to the TAURON SEC series was won by two representatives of Poland - Kacper Woryna and Grzegorz Zengota. Both scored 10 points each, and their promotion means that we will see at least five Poles in the fight for the title of Individual European Champion.
