125cc Youth Track Racing European Cup at Torun (Poland)

The 125cc Youth Track Racing European Cup was held in the big stadium of Torun, in Poland. 24 riders took part to the event, which as run on a perfect track after a sunny day with rain shower at the end of the practice. The meeting was held with the excellent work of the club staff and it was a great event for the future talents. The heats were interesting and in the whole day there were 3 crashes with no physical injuries for the riders. Filip Sifalda from Czech Republic claimed his victory after he won the start of the A final. He was the rider who did dominate all the heats as he did win all his races. There was a close fight for place 2-4 and Daniel Klima, from Czech Republic, too, gained the second position in front of Bartosz Tyburski from Poland.

European Stocksport 300 at Slovakiaring – Day2

The track of Slovakiaring, in Slovakia, hosted the Day 2 of European Stocksport 300 championship. Daniel Blin won race2 in front of Renzo Ferreira: the winner of race1 was fighting for the win until the last corner but he finished second. Third position for Vojtech Schwartz ahead of Peter Kacaba was fourth. The race was interrupted because of the heavy crash of Tarik Van Der Merwe, without consequences for the rider.

European Under 21 Individual Speedway at Macon (France)

The track of Macon, in France, hosted the U21 Speedway Individual Championship. It offered spectacular racing. The track was in very good conditions, and provided the riders a perfect stage, with around 2000 spectators, in a fine, sunny day. The riders really fought hard to reach the top 5 to qualify for the final. The winner of the event was Polish rider Dominik Kubera who dropped only 1 point in his second race to his rival who finished second in the overall, Robert Lambert for Great Britain. There was a run-off to solve the third position: 3 riders finished with 11 points. The surprise of the night Daniel Bewley, from Great Britain, won the run-off after a really hard fight with Rafal Karczmarz, from Poland, who finished fourth in the overall. The last rider in the run-off was Davis Kurmis, Latvia, who will be ready for the final on home

European Stocksport 300 at Slovakiaring (Slovakia) - Day1

Renzo Ferreira from Brasil won race1 in European Stocksport 300 at Slovakiaring, in Slovakia. At the beginning of the race it was a pack of five riders and in lap 3 there was a contact between Daniel Blin and Peter Kacaba on the start/finish straight. Kacaba crashed and the race for him was over. Daniel Blin and Renzo Ferreira switched their positions during the race and the final fight was up the last lap when Ferreira overtook Blin, but Daniel Blin was the fastest at last corner and he crossed finish line in front of Ferreira. Immediately after the race direction decided to disqualify Daniel Blin for dangerous riding, so at the end Renzo Ferreira is the winner of the race in front of Vojtech Schwarz and Taric Van Der Merwe.

International Classic Grand Prix at Sachsenring (Germany)

The circuit of Sachsenring, in Germany, hosted the third of five rounds of the International Classic Gran Prix. The event saw 27 participants who rode in front of around 25.000 spectators. For the organisers this event was “a last chance” to check all the things and staff before the MotoGP, which will be held here in two weeks. The weather changed various times: on Thursday it was about 30°C, but during the night there was a storm which destroyed some tents in paddock and overturned some bikes. On Friday it was cold and windy but ICGP riders were lucky – the rain arrived always after their track sessions. On Saturday the weather was still cold and cloudy. European Moto2, Talent Cup and Kawasaki Z Cup at Barcelona (Spain) - Day 2

This weekend the circuit of Barcelona (Spain) hosted the European Moto2, Talent Cup and Kawasaki Z Cup. Ricky Cardús (Team Stylobike) won both Moto2™ races. Iker García (Reale Avintia Academy) won the European Talent Cup event and Joan Sardanyons took the honours in the European Kawasaki Z Cup. In Moto2™, Ricky Cardus (Team Stylobike, photo1) earned a double after winning both races of the day. In the first race, Héctor Garzó (Team Wimu CNS) made a good start but the Team Stylobike rider passed him in the early corners and as the laps went by kept on lengthening his lead. Behind him came Eric Granado (Promoracing) and Héctor Garzó (Team Wimu CNS), who began to pay the price of not being more careful with his tires in the first few laps. European Superstock 1000 at Misano (Italy)

Sunday afternoon’s action at the Misano World Circuit “Marco Simoncelli” concluded with two Italians doing battle for victory to the last corner of the Superstock 1000 European Championship race and ultimately it was Marco Faccani (Althea BMW Racing Team) who just beat Michael Rinaldi (Ducati Aruba.it Racing - Junior Team) to the line. Maximillian Scheib (Aprilia Nuova M2 Racing) joined the leading two on the podium. The race was restarted after a red flag in the initial running, with crashes for Federico Sandi (BMW Berclaz Racing Team) and Eric Vionnet (BMW Motors Vionnet) at turn 4 leaving debris on track. The race recommenced with 5 laps to be contested and Faccani rode brilliantly on his BMW in the final stages to outwit Ducati-equipped Rinaldi over the last few corners and beat his compatriot to the line by +0.362, for his first win in the class. European Moto2, Talent Cup and Kawasaki Z Cup at Barcelona (Spain) - Day 1

This weekend sees the third round of the FIM CEV Repsol at the Circuit of Barcelona-Catalunya. Ricky Cardús (Team Stylobike) in Moto2™, Manuel González (Halcourier Racing) in the European Talent Cup and Joan Sardanyons in the European Kawasaki Z Cup will head the starting grids of their respective categories after earning the poles on a day marked by high temperatures. In Moto2™, Ricky Cardús (Team Stylobike, photo 1) debuted as poleman on his return to the Moto2™ European Championship, after leading the two qualifying sessions and setting the best time of 1:50.190. Héctor Garzó (Team Wumi CNS) showed his current good form by taking second position on the grid, as in the first meeting in Albacete, while Dimas Ekky (Astra Honda Racing Team) completes the front row. European U21 Individual Speedway SF2 at Nagyhalasz (Hungary)

The track of Nagyhalasz, in Hungary, hosted the SF2 of the European U21 Individual Speedway Championship. In a sunny, hot day, 16 riders took part to the event in front of around 1.800 spectators. Five top riders qualified to the Final which will be held at Daugavpils (Latvia) on 26th August. Speedway European Championship  Wild Cards confirmed for 2017

It'll be the fifth time, when Speedway Euro Championship series will make us know the name of the best European rider. Nicki Pedersen will be defending this title. We've met  the names of the riders, who got the permanent wild cards for this year's series. In the Speedway Euro Championship 2017 we will see five riders, who secured their spots (TOP 5) and this list includes Nicki Pedersen, Vaclav Milik, Krzysztof Kasprzak, Grigorij Laguta and Leon Madsen. On May 20 in Gorican, the SEC Challenge was held, out of where seven riders got promotion to the finals. The Croatian tournament was won by Przemysław Pawlicki. Kenneth Bjerre, Nicolai Klindt, Mateusz Szczepaniak, Martin Smolinski, Kacper Gomólski and Adrian Miedziński (who made it through the race- off heat) got promoted as well.
