ETC: Hugo Millán passes away Following a serious incident in European Talent Cup Race One at the MotorLand Aragón Round of the FIM CEV Repsol, it is with great sadness that we report the passing of rider Hugo Millán. Millán was involved in a multi-rider incident at Turn 5, with the session immediately red flagged. The Medical Intervention Vehicles arrived at the site immediately and the rider was attended to on track before being transferred to the Medical Centre at the Circuit. Despite the best efforts of the circuit medical staff, the Medical Centre has announced that Millán has sadly succumbed to his injuries. Millán was enjoying his most successful season so far in the FIM CEV Repsol, claiming several podiums to demonstrate his consistency as he competed at the front of the class. CEV Repsol Moto2 European Championship and Hawkers European Talent Cup: thrilling action at Portimao All eyes were on Fermin Aldeguer in Moto2™ Ech and the championship leader lived up to the billing. The 16-year-old produced a dominant performance in Race 1, showing incredible consistency and speed to pull clear of team-mate Alonso Lopez (Boscoscuro Talent Team-Ciatti). Adam Norrodin (Liqui Moly Intact SIC Racing Team) equalled his career best result in third, taking advantage of a crash for his team-mate Lukas Tulovic in the early stages after the German had made a bright start from row two. Race 2 was much more closely fought with Lopez signalling his intentions off the start line, immediately passing the polesitter. Despite many attempts, Aldeguer struggled to overcome his team-mate before a ruthless move on the penultimate lap saw him secure a seventh victory in succession. Yamaha R3 bLU cRU European Cup: Donington Park Photo credits Yamaha Racing The second round of the Yamaha R3 bLU cRU European Cup held at Donington Park, Great Britain, posed a great challenge for riders. After a sunny and warm Friday in which Free practice and Superpole passed peacefully with the fight for the first starting position, on the race day the rain put a new challenge in front of the riders. In a wet race1 Juan Antonio Conesa Benito from Spain took the victory ahead of his countryman Iker Garcia Abella. Moto Guzzi Fast Endurance European Cup: second round   After the first round in Varano, Vallelunga hosted the second round of the Moto Guzzi Fast Endurance, the monobrand valid as European Cup and dedicated to couples of riders riding Moto Guzzi V7 III bikes. Provisional CEV Repsol calendar update

Provisional CEV Repsol Moto2 European Championship and Hawkers European Talent Cup calendar update Following MotoGP calendar’s update and in order to avoid clash with MotoGP events, the provisional 2021 CEV Repsol - Moto2 European Championship and Hawkers European Talent Cup calendar has been updated. The Circuito de Jerez – Ángel Nieto Round will now take place on 22nd August 2021. Next events of the Moto2 and ETC: - 4 July, Autodromo Internacional Algarve, Portugal - 25 July, MotorLand Aragon, Spain - 22 August, Circuito de Jerez – Angel Nieto, Spain - 7 November, Circuit Ricardo Tormo, Spain The FIM Europe, FIM and Dorna Organization are constantly working with Government Officials and Circuits to continue putting everyone’s safety first. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, further updates to the 2021 calendar still may occur and would be then communicated accordingly. Northern Talent Cup: action at TT Assen Race 1 Race 1 of Northern Talent Cup Round 4 didn't disappoint, with the battle going down to the final chicane and almost nothing deciding it at the line. But it was Belgian rider Lorenz Luciano (Junior Black Knights Team) who came out on top, just 0.044 ahead of Stepan Zuda (Motoracing23 Klub V ACR) over the line as the Czech rider took his first podium of the season in second. His compatriot and points leader Jakub Gurecky (JRT Brno Circuit) took third, incredibly from P20 on the grid. It was home hero Loris Veneman (Kahuna Security Racing) who took off like a shot from the front row, with some of the track wet and some dry but the Dutchman flying early. Women's European SS 300 Cup: races time in Croatia   Women's European SS 300 Cup For the first time the Women's European SS 300 Cup approached out of Italy with the Grand Prix of Grobnik at Rijeka, Croatia. Both race 1 and race 2 were a fight between Neila Santos and Sara Sanchez: one win each for the Spanish rider, with the Italian Roberta Ponziani third. Supersport 300 Cup Double victory for the poleman Gasper Hudovernik, who won ahead the Croatian Fran Bebic and the Polish Patrycja. Superstock 1000 Cup Poleman David Bozic from Serbja took the leadership, winning race 1 and race 2 at Grobnik. Northern Talent Cup: action at Sachsenring! Race 1 Jakub Gurecky (JRT Brno Circuit) has done it again! The Czech rider made it four in a row with another impressive win to begin Round 3, although this time it was a different victory. Starting well from pole and fighting it out in a five-rider battle for the podium, the number 59 then pulled the pin with perfect timing to get back onto the top step. Rookie Rossi Moor (FAIRIUM Next Generation Riders Team) took his first NTC podium in second as the Hungarian finds his feet, with Lorenz Luciano (Junior Black Knights Team) in the fight once again and the Belgiian taking third. Gurecky got the best start from pole, taking the the holeshot and making an early statement on his dry weather pace. Five riders started to pull away in a front group straight away though and he couldn't escape:

Yamaha R3 bLU cRU European Cup: round 1 at Misano Circuit Photo credits Yamaha Racing The first ever round of the Yamaha R3 bLU cRU European Cup provided the crowd at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, Italy, on 11th and 12th June with two thrilling races, as 27 young riders battled it out to open their championship account with a win. In race one it was Spanish rider Iker Garcia Abella who took victory ahead of Slovakian Maxim "Terminator" Repak and British rider Fenton Seabright.
In race two Repak and wild card rider, Matteo Vannucci, managed to break away from a chasing pack led by Giacomo "The Thunder" Mora in the closing stages. It was the Slovakian Repak who got the better of the Italian Vannucci to take the win, with Mora crossing the line to claim the final step on the podium. Visit our Road Racing page

CEV Repsol Moto2 European Championship and Hawkers European Talent Cup: Catalunya hosted round 3 Catalunya played to host a fantastic display right throughout the weekend for the CEV Repsol Moto2 European Championship and Hawkers European Talent Cup. Fermin Aldeguer (Boscoscuro Talent Team-Ciatti) was once again the dominant force in the Moto2™ European Championship as he raced into the distance winning both races and it was 15-year-old Xabi Zurutuza (Cuna de Campeones) that took the win in Hawkers European Talent Cup. In Moto2™ ECh it was business as usual for Aldeguer at the flag, but he did have some work to do! The 16-year-old was squeezed out at Turn 1 as Lukas Tulovic (Liqui Moly Intact SIC Racing Team) and Alonso Lopez (Boscosuro Talent Team-Ciatti) grabbed 1st and 2nd on the first lap. Aldeguer quickly set to work and picked them off to take the lead and from there, streaked away to a 7-second winning margin.
