Women's European SS 300 Cup: the season is finally started! The Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli in Misano Adriatico, Italy, officially hosted the first round of the Women's European SS 300 Cup together with the CIV, the Italian Road Racing Championship. A thrilling weekend, finally with the audience both in the paddock and on the grandstands after two years behind closed doors due to the Covid-19 restrictions. 2020 and 2021 European Champion Beatriz Neila Santos started the weekend in the best way conquering the pole position, but in wet conditions Race1 was ruled by debut rider Jessica Howden from South Africa, who won 4 seconds ahead of Neila Santos and Sabrina Della Manna. A great success for the South African rider and her team, that is entirely "pink" as composed by women, both technicians and staff. Northern Talent Cup Provisional 2022 calendar The FIM Europe and Dorna are pleased to announce the provisional calendar for the 2022 Northern Talent Cup. A seven-round, 14-race season will see the NTC race in five different countries next year, taking on six different tracks. Three rounds will take place alongside the FIM MotoGP™ World Championship and three alongside IDM, with the Cup also set to join the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship for the first time ever. Applications for 2022 grid are still open until the 31st of December. Hawkers European Talent Cup: Martinez crowned ETC Champion in Valencia In front of 10.000 fans at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo, Maximo Martinez (Team Honda Laglisse) was crowned 2021 Champion on a phenomenal Sunday finale, as he wrapped up the Hawkers European Talent Cup title. The Spaniard joins Fermin Aldeguer (Boscoscuro Team Ciatti) in becoming the 2021 Champions, as he won the Moto2™ European Championship in the next to last race. Mr Martin de Graaff, FIM Europe President “The last CEV Repsol round at Ricardo Tormo in Valencia was successful. It was a pleasure to attend this event together with the 1st Deputy President Mr Michal Sikora. We had the occasion to meet riders and teams, as well as the promoter.
