EMX Quad European Championship at Chernivtsi (Ukraine)

The beautiful track of Chernivtsi in Ukraine hosted the third round of the 2018 EMX Quad European Championship. Around 8.000 spectators packed around the track to welcome and enjoy their favorite riders, as to feel the spirit of the race. The weather, despite all forecast, turned out to be perfect during the whole weekend. Even though, the organizer did a massive job to maintain the good quality of the track. Polish rider Roman Gwiazda took a full advantage in the Qualifying Race and was leader the whole time. The fight was on for other two spots. Harry Walker from Great Britain managed to finish second and Kevin Saar from Estonia secured the third place. Sunday began with a chill, but turned out to a perfect day for racing. European Quadcross Championship at Castelnau de Levis (France) – Preview

The second round of European Quadcross will be held in the upcoming weekend at Castelnau de Levis, in France following to the first races in Oss, The Netherlands. In the first appointment of the season the fastest rider was the home-rider Mike Van Grinsven, who won both races and leads the series with full points. Second position in the general standings for Davy De Cuyper from Belgium, who gained a third and a second place in the two races. On the podium of the first round, also Joe Maessen from The Netherlands, who managed to finish race1 in second position but did not go further the sixth place on Race2.

Sidecarcross and Quadcross of European Nations at Cingoli (Italy)

Today the qualifications for tomorrow’s races in the Sidecarcross of European Nations and the Quadcross of European Nations were held on the beautiful and perfectly prepared track at Cingoli, in Italy. The sidecar qualification required a 40 minute timed session because there were less than 10 teams present. The Netherlands team posted the 2nd and 3rd fastest times, which gives them pole position for tomorrow’s races. With the 1st and 7th fastest times, France finished as 2nd best team with Belgium in 3rd place with 6th and 8th fastest times. The Great Britain team will start in 4th position with 9th and 11th fastest times. In the Quadcross of Nations, there were 3 races, one for each team rider, which were totally dominated by USA team. EMX ITP Quad European Championship at Markelo (The Netherlands)

The last race of the EMX Quad championship was held in Markelo, The Netherlands. In the week before the event there it was raining but in the racing day it was great sunny weather. Both races in the EMX Quad were dominated by Dutch rider Mike van Grinsven, who was leading from start to finish. Second in the first heat was Dutch rider Ricardo Phoelich and third was Jan Vlaeymans from Belgium. Kevin Saar finished fourth in the first heat and that was enough for him to win the European Quad Championship 2017. In the second heat second place went to Jan Vlaeymans ahead of Kevin Saar. EMX ITP Quad at Kivioli (Estonia)

The track of Kivioli in Estonia hosted the fourth round of the 2017 ITP European Quadcross Championship. More than 10.000 spectators packed around the track were present for the organization of SA Kivioli Seiklusturismi Keskus. A storm hit the track on Saturday evening, but luckily the weather turned out to be better on Sunday. Even so the organizer did a massive job to maintain the good quality of the track. Local Estonian rider Kevin Saar (Honda, in the last two photos) took full advantage of the Championship's visit to his native country and went ahead to easily win both motos in front of his home crowd. European IPT Quad Championship at Stelpe (Latvia)

The third round of the EMX ITP Quad European Championship took place in Stelpe (Latvia) this weekend, on a well prepared track. In day1, with around 33 degrees the riders carried out sessions of free practice and one of qualifying practice. The pole position for Sunday’s races went to Kevin Saar from Estonia in front of Jani Tanhuanpaa from Finland and Christopher Tveraen from Norway. Today in Stelpe it was sunny or cloudy, with 22 degrees. The organizers had once again prepared well the track and the day started with the warm up. In the first race in the afternoon the fastest rider was poleman Kevin Saar from Estonia, followed by Domantas Waznys, from Lithuania and from Christopher Tveraen from Norway. In the second race Kevin Saar was again the fastest rider, while the second place went to Jani Tanhuanpaa from Finland ahead of Domantas Waznys from Lithuania. The overall

European ITP Quad championship at Vellahn (Germany)

This weekend the second round of the EMX ITP Quad Championship was held at Vellahn, in Germany, in front of around 3000 spectators. There were 15 riders taking part to the event, representing 9 countries. On Saturday it was cloudy, with about 18 degrees. On Sunday morning it rained heavily, which made the track very soft. The weather was bad all day long. In both races there was the same podium - the winner was Kevin Saar from Estonia in front of Janis Tanhuanppa from Finland and third was Roman Gwiazda from Poland. Kevin Saar won also the overall in front of Tanhuanppa and Gwiazda. The next round will be in Latvia, on 12-13th August.

EMX ITP Quad European Championship at Oldebroek, The Netherlands – Day2

The first round of the EMX ITP Quad European Championship started on sunny Monday at Oldebroek, in The Netherlands. The owner of the second place in qualification Mike van Grinsven was unfit to take part to the event because of broken pelvis on Saturday qualification. The first holeshot went to young Estonian rider Kevin Saar who was leading for 6 laps but had technical problems and was forced to retire. After his technical problems Dutch rider Marc de Vries took the lead till the 14th lap when he was passed by Finnish rider Jani Tanhuanpaa who won Race1 2,782 sec ahead of the best Dutch rider Marc de Vries and 9,504 sec of Belgian rider Oliver Vandendijck. EMX ITP Quad European Championship at Oldebroek, The Netherlands – Day1

The first round of EMX ITP Quad European Championship started in Oldebroek, The Netherlands with 27 riders. The weather conditions early in the morning were bad and it was raining but after few hours it was sunny and windy. The track was well prepared. In  qualification practice the first position went to the young Estonian rider Kevin Saar, 1,191 sec ahead of the best Dutch rider Mike Van Grinsven, and 2,231 sec in front of another Dutch rider: Marc de Vries.  Mike Van Grinsven had a crash during Qualifying and he hopes to recover within the racing day, next Monday.

Maxxis European Quad in Morso (Denmark)

On the very nice MotoCross Arena in Erslev-Morso (Denmark) inside small hills, where spectators can see nearly total track. The 100. Birthday of DMU has been celebrated with nearly all MX classes national, from 50cc Kids up to MX1 and Side Cars. The European Quads Series final race came on top of it. Saturday suffered under very strong rain, so after free practice the practice and Qualifying sessions had been cancelled! The Sunday morning qualifying practice saw 25 quads fighting for the best positions behind the starting grid. Best time did Edgars Mengelis, Lavia, with 2:16,876 min, but he had been punished 5 places back because of stopping on the track. So Olli Koskela got 1st position, Second best was Mike van Grinsven, and third got Casper H. Holm, Denmark. In Heat 1, holeshot went to Nr. 92, Olli Koskela.
