EMX 65 / EMX 85 European Championship South West zone Fernao Joanes, in Portugal, hosted the fourth round of the EMX 65 / EMX 85 European Championship - South West zone. The spectacular, fast and hard pack track was perfectly prepared inviting all the riders for a thrilling event. EMX85 27 degrees, little wind, perfect conditions for spectacular races. And that was exactly what riders did. In race 1 the French Felix Cardineau took the holeshot, closely followed by the Italians Filippo Mantovani, Riccardo Pini and Niccolo Mannini and the Swiss Ryan Oppliger. After a few laps Mantovani took the lead but shortly after he crashed leaving the lead to Cardineau. Second position for Mannini and third for Pini. EMX 125 European Championship: Van Erp secures first overall of the season The Spanish round in Arroyomolinos has concluded the fourth round of the EMX125 Presented by FMF Racing Championship, with Yamaha Europe EMX125 MJC’s Ivano Van Erp winning his first overall of the season, as series leader Cas Valk of Fantic Factory Team Maddii failed to reach the podium. In the first EMX125 Presented by FMF Racing heat it was Maximilian Werner of KTM Kosak Team who was the leading rider out of the gate. Fantic Factory Team Maddii’s Cas Valk along with Alexis Fueri and Ferruccio Zanchi of Yamaha Europe EMX125 MJC were just behind the leader. Mathis Valin started well too, and at one stage was third, before being passed by Fueri who got around him and Zanchi. Meanwhile his teammate Valk was applying the pressure onto Werner and at one point may have pushed too hard as a mistake saw him go off track which allowed Fueri to get closer. 2022 MXoEN date and venue announced FIM Europe and Infront Moto Racing are delighted to share that the FIM-Europe Motocross of European Nations will head to Talavera de La Reina in Spain this year on the 8th and 9th of October. The announcement was made during the MXGP of Spain in the media centre of the intu-Xanadù Arroyomolinos circuit in the presence of Tita Garcia, Mayor of Talavera de La Reina, Sergio Gutierrez, Sport Councillor of Talavera de La Reina, Jesus Bermudez, MC Talavera President, Patricia Maskarova, Infront Moto Racing Representative and Antonio Alia Portela, Event Organizer. Talavera de La Reina is well known within the MXGP paddock and has previously hosted rounds of the FIM Motocross World Championship, the most recent in 2016 which was won by Jeffrey Herlings and Tim Gajser in MX2 and MXGP. EMX 65 / EMX 85 European Championship - South West zone Exciting third round for the EMX 65 / EMX 85 European Championship - South West zone at the beautiful track of Talavera de la Reina, Spain. EMX 65 In race 1 championship leader Pau Caudet leaves the door open to qualifying winner, the Austrian Ricardo Bauer, who won ahead of the Spanish Celso Rodriguez and Alonso Parejo. In race 2 home rider Carlos Martin took the holeshot ahead of Bauer until four laps to the finish. At the end of a great battle, Bauer won in front of Martin and Trent Valsecchi, third. EMX 85 In race 1 championship leader Italian Niccolò Mannini continues in what he is the best: winning heats. EMX 65 / EMX 85 European Championship - South East zone   After the first round in Bulgaria and the second one in Romania, last weekend the EMX 65 / EMX 85 European Championship - South East zone was hosted at the new track in Edirne, Turkey. EMX 65 In race 1 qualifying winner Sami Dimitru won the holeshot leading from the start. Behind Georgi Ginov and Szoke Eros Mark fought for second place until the checkered flag. Both shown great talent and at the end Geogi Ginov got the better of him. In the second heat Mark made the holeshot in front of Dimitru, who passed him at the first corner. At half race he crashed and Mark was back to the lead. Dimitru succeeded in finishing second and Ginov was third. EMX 85 Absent the zone leader, Dani Tsankov won the first race in Edirne. EMX Women's European Championship: great race for Mathea Selebø After the races in Denmark and France, the third round of the EMX Women's European Championship was raced in Helsingborg, Sweden. Not perfect race for the leader Line Dam, who finished third in both races, getting the third overall position. This time was the Norwegian Mathea Selebø to win thanks to a second and a first position. One win and one second place for home rider, Matilda Huss, who finished second overall. EMX 250 European Championship: Bonacordi wins for the first time in Sardinia At the fourth round of the EMX250 Championship in Riola Sardo, Sardegna, Hutten Metaal Yamaha Racing ended their weekend with a huge success as their riders Andrea Bonacorsi and Rick Elzinga finished 1-2 on the podium. For Bonacorsi this was his first overall victory since making the move up to the EMX250 category last year and was the perfect bounce-back after a tough start to the season, while Elzinga clawed back some vital championship points. In the first race of the EMX250 class, we saw Mike Gwerder of WZ Racing Team lead the way with Hutten Metaal Yamaha Racing’s Rick Elzinga just behind. Fantic Factory Team Maddii’s Cas Valk, who was making his wildcard appearance in the 250cc class also started well in third, ahead of Dave Kooiker of Hutten Metaal Yamaha Racing and Fantic Factory Team Maddii’s Cornelius Toendel. EMX 250 and EMX Open European Championship: Toendel and Pezzuto win in Maggiora The third and fourth rounds of the EMX250 and EMX Open Championship have concluded in Maggiora for the round of Italy. The weekend of the EMX 250 and EMX Open European Championship saw varying conditions, with rain staying away on Saturday, though with heavy rainfall in the night, the EMX riders were presented with much tougher conditions this morning. Fantic Factory Team Maddii’s Cornelius Toendel did not let this affect his performance, as went on to claim his first overall victory in EMX250 as well as the red plate after Hutten Metaal Yamaha Racing’s Rick Elzinga did not finish the second race and lost vital championship points. Meanwhile in the EMX Open class, Stefano Pezzuto claimed his first overall win on home soil as JD Gunnex KTM Racing’s Jose Butron secured the red plate after Rath’s Motorsports Michael Sandner’s struggles in the second heat too.
