EMX 125 European Championship: first for Mathis Valin The first round of the EMX125 presented by FMF took place in Frauenfeld, Switzerland, and it was 737 Performers GASGAS’s Mathis Valin who clinched the victory with a strong performance throughout the whole round. Race1 MJC Yamaha Team’s Janis Martin Reisulis took the lead from the first lap in front of Mathis Valin as the youngsters found themselves making a good gap with the rest of the riders. Valin managed to stay in touching distance with race Reisulis for few laps but the leader increased the gap to 5 seconds to keep his distance and not get under pressure by Valin until the end. Reisulis won the race while Valin settled for a solid 2nd place after showing very good speed over the race. Behind them we thought that the 3rd place was promised to Fantic Maddii Factory Racing‘s Maximilian Werner as he was 3rd from lap 1 until 2 laps to

EMX 250 European Championship: Bonacorsi dominates the first round The first round of the EMX250 Championship of the season took place in Sardegna and has concluded with Andrea Bonacorsi winning for the second year in a row with some strong racing throughout the weekend. Race1 The first race of the EMX250 class saw a great start with three riders detaching themselves with Ivano Van Erp and Andrea Bonacorsi from Hutten Metaal Yamaha Racing Team and Fantic Factory Team Maddii’s Cas Valk taking the lead with Van Erp taking the better of the others over few turns until Valk made a move on the inside to be 1st on lap 1. It was the turn of Bonacorsi on lap 2 to make a charge on Van Erp who could not resist the attack. Bonacorsi would go on to put pressure on Valk who made a mistake on a turn leaving the path open for Bonacorsi to take the lead on lap 4 and never give it

Record Number of Riders to Race Yamaha YZ bLU cRU FIM Europe Cup in 2023 The popularity of the Yamaha Motor Europe YZ bLU cRU FIM Europe Cup continues to grow apace, with a record number of young riders registered to take part in the unique pan-European race series in 2023. The riders, aged 8-16 years, will all compete for a place on the start gate at the YZ bLU cRU FIM Europe Cup SuperFinale, which will run alongside the Monster Energy Motocross of Nations at Ernée, France over the weekend of 6-8 October 2023. Since its inception in 2015, the Yamaha YZ bLU cRU FIM Europe Cup has attracted the best young riders from around Europe. This year the number of riders registered to contest the series has increased by more than 40% compared to 2022, with 536 youngsters from 28 countries set to compete on Yamaha YZ65, YZ85

Motocross European Championships: 2023 calendar update FIM Europe, together with Infront Moto Racing and FIM, would like to announce the updates to the 2023 Motocross European calendar. The Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations and the support race of the Yamaha YZ bLU cRU previously scheduled on October 22nd in Ernée, France, will be brought forward to October the 6th,7th & 8th. Consequently, the rescheduling includes a date change of the MXGP of Great Britain which will be held in Matterley Basin and will also be brought forward to the 30 September and 1 October, along with the supporting classes of EMX125 Presented by FMF Racing and EMX250. Motocross European Championships: 2023 calendar update FIM Europe, together with Infront Moto Racing and FIM, is delighted to announce the 2023 Motocross European calendar update. 16 events together with the FIM Motocross World Championship for 4 different series: EMX250, EMX125, EMX Open and EMX2T, adding the Finals for EMX65 and EMX85 and the Yamaha bLU cRU. The first round of the 2023 season will be held in Riola Sardo as the MXGP of Sardegna will take place on March the 25th and 26th. In 2023 the venue will be hosting the third MXGP race in its history. The second event of the 2023 season sees the return of Switzerland as Frauenfeld gets ready to welcome back the MXGP of Switzerland since 2018 but this time the circuit will be completely brand new, creating an added challenge for the riders. Women's Motocross of European Nations: France and Spain victorious The 2022 Motocross of European Nations has concluded in Talavera de la Reina as Team France and Team Spain were crowned this year’s champions in the MXoEN and WMXoEN categories! The morning of the race began with an opening ceremony with speeches given by José Ramón Garcia, FIM Europe Vice President, Jesús Bermúdez, President of Motoclub Talavera, and Patricia Maskarova, Infront Moto Racing’s MXoEN general manager, who also handed a special plaque to Mr Jesús Bermúdez as thanks for organising such a fantastic event. At the end of the opening ceremony, the national anthem of Spain was played before everyone shifted their focus onto the racing. Each group rode a total of two races, as they fought for the highest positions, in order to take the least amount of points, with the worst result not being counted. The

2022 Motocross of European Nations Entry Lists The FIM Europe and Infront Moto Racing are delighted to release the entry lists for the 2022 FIM Europe Motocross of European Nations and the Women’s Motocross of European Nations taking place in Talavera de la Reina, Spain on the 8th and 9th of October. This will be the first time since 2019 that the event will make its return. Last time, the event was hosted in Gdansk, Poland, where Team Italy ended up on the top step once again, while in the women’s division it was Team Netherlands who ended up on top. The competition will be fierce this year with 10 teams in the men’s and 12 in the women’s, it will be interesting to see if the reigning champions can defend their crowns this time around in Spain. FIM Europe will join the 2022 Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations! All is set! The 2022 Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations will soon take place on September 24th and 25th in the United States. This year the iconic event will return to America’s legendary track of RedBud in Michigan, the host of the 2018 edition of the Monster Energy FIM MXoN that saw Team France win their fifth title on the bounce. Among the 34 different teams, this year there will also be a new team entering representing the FIM Europe with Bence Pergel, Julius Mikula and Pavlo Kizlyak. Pergel and Kizlyak will race in the MXGP category, while Mikula will run in the MX2, all riders with KTM. Don’t miss the event! Stay tuned! EMX250 European Championship: Rule Change The FIM-Europe and Infront Moto Racing wish to announce a rule change that will become effective in the EMX250 Championship from the 2023 season and onwards. Over the last several years, the pyramid scheme has seen great success with increasing number of entries in the European classes. Many of the current top stars in MXGP and MX2 have gone through the EMX ranks to become the front runners in the FIM Motocross World Championship which is exactly what the pyramid scheme aims to achieve, in order to have the best riders in the world competing on the biggest stage of motocross racing. The change in the EMX250 will be the age rule which looks to follow the natural evolution of the riding experience in the European Championship.
