EMX125 and EMX Open European Championship: Goupillon is victorious in EMX Open while Reisulis wins in EMX125 The round of Flanders in Lommel saw the 7th round of the EMX125 presented by FMF Racing and the unique round of the EMXOpen. The competition raged over two days on the technical sand track, and the two classes delivered an outstanding show for the large Belgian public present. The two races in each category run over Saturday and Sunday which saw a complete change of weather making it even more challenging for the riders. In EMX125 presented by FMFM Racing, it was Red Plate MJC Yamaha Official EMX125’s Janis Reisulis who won his second round in a row in front of the surprising and strong Kassimir Hindersson who got his first podium and the consistent second in the Championship, 737 Performers GASGAS’s Mathis Valin who finished third. EMX Women' European Championship: Van Drunen and Barker claim the title The EMX Women' European Championship raced the last round of the season featuring the EMX65 / EMX85 European Championship – SW and SE zone Semifinal in Gazzane di Preseglie, Italy. For the sixth time in a row Lotte Van Drunen (Kawasaki) ruled the weekend with a masterpiece of 25+25 points. The Dutch rider had no rivals this season, winning all the races and becoming the new EMX Women’ Champion. Difficult season to date for the defending champion Mathea Selebo (Yamaha), who with another double second position confirmed the second place in the standings. With a double third in Gazzane di Preseglie, Alexandra Massury (KTM) is third in the standing too. EMX65 / EMX85 European Championship - Semifinal SW and SE zone After the challenge between the Central Europe and North Europe zone, last week the SW and SE zone met in Gazzane di Preseglie, Italy, for the second EMX65 / EMX85 European Championship – Semifinal. EMX65 The first race of EMX65 saw the win of the SW zone leader Francesco Assini (GasGas) ahead of French riders Tim Lopes (GasGas) and Loan Torro (GasGas). Race 2 was ruled by Slovenian Taj Golez (Husqvarna), who won the qualifying race on Saturday, but finished sixth in the first heat. With the second position and 22 points the Italian rider Assini took the Semifinal win. Third place for Gonzalo Salvador (KTM), fourth for Alex Novak (KTM) and fifth for Loan Torro. EMX65 / EMX85 European Championship - Semifinal CE and NE zone The first EMX65 / EMX85 European Championship - Semifinal in the history of the FIM Europe was race in Axel, in the Netherlands. The Central Europe and North Europe zone met for a challenge with 47 riders in the EMX65 and 50 in the EMX85. EMX65 In the first race of EMX65 the challenge for the win was a matter between CE zone leader Harry Dale (KTM) and NE leader Gregor Lootus (KMT). At the end the English rider took the victory ahead of the Estonian. Third position for Theo Kolts (GasGas), the second-best rider of NE zone. Race 2 saw the battle between Dale and home rider Kenzo Jaspers (GasGas), second-best rider of CE zone. At the end the English rider managed to take a double victory. Third position for another Dutch rider, Teunis Spijkerman (GasGas). EMX65 Top three 1.

EMX65 / EMX85 European Championship South West zone The city of Mladina, about 30 km from Croatian capital Zagreb, hosted the fourth and last round of the EMX 65 / EMX 85 European Championship South West zone. Race1 of the EMX65 class saw the came back to win of Taj Golez (GasGas), who missed the next to last event in Portugal. The Slovenian rider won ahead of home rider Roko Ivandic (KTM) and compatriot Alex Novak (KTM), third at the end of a tight battle with the Italian Kevin Cantu (Husqvarna). Race2 was won by home hero Ivandic, who succeeded to see the chequered flag as first ahead of the zone leader Francesco Assini (GasGas), sixth in Race1. Motocross European Championships: 2023 calendar update The FIM Europe, together with Infront Moto Racing and the FIM, would like to share an update to the 2023 Motocross European Championships' calendar. The MXGP of Finland which is set to take place on July the 29th and 30th will see a change of venue as it will now take place in Vantaa. Unfortunately, the infrastructure is not able to receive many classes, so the EMX250 and EMX125 Presented by FMF Racing races are cancelled. Additionally, the MXGP of Great Britain set in Matterley Basin and previously scheduled on October the 1st, will be brought forward to September the 23rd and 24th featuring the EMX250 and EMX125 Presented by FMF Racing classes line up for the final round of the 2023 season. Cancellation of the last round of the EMX65 / EMX85 European Championship – South East zone The FIM Europe together with the AMSS, the Auto-Moto Association of Serbia, regret to inform that the last round of the EMX65 / EMX85 European Championship – South East zone is officially cancelled. The event was to take place on 17th-18th June at the motocross track of Globare, Serbia, but due the extremely unfavourable weather conditions and the heavy rain felt last weekend in the region it’s impossible to guarantee the functionality of the track. The FIM Europe takes the occasion to remember that the Semi-Final between SE and SW zones will take place on 1st-2nd July in Gazzane di Preseglie, Italy, while the Semi-Final between CE and NE zones is scheduled on 24th-25th June in Axel, in the Netherlands. EMX125 European Championship and EMX250 European Championship: first Van Herp in EMX250, while it’s back to back win for Valin in EMX125 The Round of Latvia was really eventful in both categories and we saw a lot of intense battles throughout the weekend in Kegums. In EMX250, it was Hutten Metaal Yamaha Racing Team’s Ivano Van Erp who won his first EMX250 round of his career with a solid performance in front of the always consistent BT Racing Team’s Kay Karssemakers and Red Plate holder Hutten Metaal Yamaha Racing Team’s Andrea Bonacorsi.
