The third round of class SM Junior of the European Supermoto 2018 Championship was held this weekend in Lithania on "Baciunas" Karting track in Sauliai. Even if before the event the sun was hot, with more than 30°C, practices and races of SM Junior class saw an unexpected turn of the weather, with only 19 degrees, clouds and rain without stop. It was Estonian rider Aksel Partelpoes on his Husqvarna to overcome these conditions imposing himself as the man to beat in all the outings on the track – he scored the best lap in free and timed practices, thus earning the pole-position for the races. He was closely followed by Russian Ivan Mosin (TM) and Jan Ulman from Czech Republic on his Kawasaki. The first ten laps race was won in high class by Aksel, who did enough to break in front of the pack in the early laps

The scene was the Autodromo di Franciacorta in Italy and with clear skies and warm and dry weather this excellent venue with two different tracks – one for MiniMoto and one for Mini GP – set the ideal frame for three days of racing and friendship. The Mini Bike racing is for children from 7 years and for many of the participants it was an inspiration and education to be part of the friendly but strict atmosphere associated with a European Championship. The Italian riders held the home track and they had strong results in all of the MiniMoto classes as well as in the Mini GP class. European Trial Championship at Santo Stefano d’Aveto (Italy) – Day 1

bertaAbellan
Spanish Berta Abellan (Vertigo, photo1) and Italian Carlo Alberto Rabino (Beta, photo2) were one step above all in Day 1 of the fourth round of the European Trial Championship, held at Santo Stefano d’Aveto, Italy. Winners in Women's and Youths’ classes, respectively, scored almost half points than their most challenging rival. The young Spaniard girl decided to escape from her group of rivals. Taking advantage to be one of the first to start, she absolutely did not worry to open all the sections, rode for herself and gained the leadership at the turning point. Her score was 5, but Norwegian Ingveig Hakonsen (TRS) did as much as her a brilliant first lap, making just one more mistake. German Theresa Baeuml (Montesa) followed with 13 marks. In the second lap due to a very hot day all the girls were quite weary. Abellan limited her errors to 8 and it meant

European Trial Championship at Santo Stefano d’Aveto (Italy) – Preview

sergioPiardi
Crucial moments for riders of all the classes of the FIM Europe Trial Championship as in the next two week-ends all titles will be assigned: in Italy and in Belgium the two chosen venues. At first the European riders are expected to enter at Santo Stefano d’Aveto, little village in the mountains behind Genova, where in 2012 one round of the FIM World Championship was held. Do not be frightened by the high temperatures that are crossing Italy - and not only - in these days. Santo Stefano d’Aveto is situated at almost 1000 mt of altitude, consequently some degrees less than any other part are guaranteed. As usual when all the categories are present, on Saturday Women’s and Youths’ Cups will be on the scene. Spanish Berta Abellan (Vertigo) will have to defend her smooth advantage on German Theresa Bauml (Montesa), but Italian Sara Trentini (Montesa), gratified by her
