FIM Europe Snowmobile Week 2021 The Coronavirus emergency does not stop the passion for the Motorsport. As in previous years, FIM Europe together with the Finnish Motorcycling Federation and the Snowmobile Guide Association Finland, is planning a FIM Europe Snow-Mobile Week to offer a unique snowmobile experience combined with European motorsports co-operation and workshops in the exotic Finnish Lapland. In order to give the possibility to participate even if the Covid -19 situation, the participants have the possibility to plan a “stop and go” - visit to Rovaniemi during the week and decide the arrival and departure dates which ever suites best each participant. During the week from Monday 15.03 to Friday 19.03 a Snowmobile tour of 100-150 kilometers will be organized every day respecting all the Covid-19 restrictions. Tragic mourning for FIM Europe and Hungarian Enduro With deep sadness FIM Europe would like to inform that Sandor Sasvari, well-known as Sasó, passed away yesterday, June 2nd, at the age of 65. At the end of April, he was injured in a bicycle accident and he was treated in hospital with serious injuries. Unfortunately, despite the long hospital treatment, he did not wake up. He was the Enduro icon in Hungary and he dedicated his whole life to the motorsport not only as a rider, but also as an official, organizer, club manager. Hungary, MAMS and Sandor had a key role in the rebirth of the Enduro European Championship, thanks to the organizations of important competitions as the one at Hungaroring. He was member of UEM (later FIM Europe) Enduro and Rally Commission as part of MAMS and also President of Alpe Adria Motorcycle Union Enduro Commission. He was

The Italian Federation presents the “Motociclo Italiano” initiative The current emergency situation does not stop the world of the two wheels. The FMI, the Italian Motorcycling Federation, launches the “Motociclo Italiano” project. This initiative aims to rediscover the historical heritage of motorbikes produced in Italy and today owned by motorcyclist living all over the world. The initiative is dedicated to Made in Italy fans, who live outside Italy and own one or more motorcycles built at least 20 years ago. All the owners have the possibility to be part of an exclusive collection available on www.motocicloitaliano.com website, showing their motorbike and giving it a cultural value. Yesterday evening, in the beautiful Princess Center in Jastrebarsko, near Zagreb, the Croatian Motorcycle Federation HMS celebrated the Night of the Champions. This was the occasion to rewarded the 2019 champions welcomed by HMS President Stjepan Peršin, FIM Europe President Mr. Martin de Graaff and many rrepresentatives of the Sports World, Olympic federation and Regional clubs. After the price giving ceremony the evening went on with a dinner for champions, sponsors and family members in a very relaxed atmosphere. The Italian Motorcycle Federation celebrates the 2019 World Environment Day Saturday 8th of June during the 3rd round of the Coppa Italia road racing competition, 7 olive trees were planted in the green entrance area to Vallelunga circuit’s grandstands to celebrate the 2019 World Environmental Day and according with the 2019 motto “Green The Blue – Beat Air Pollution”. The decision on the number of trees to be planted was taken after calculating the amount of CO2 emitted into the air during the event and assessed the absorption capacity of each trees planted. The availability of the Vallelunga racetrack in the figures of the Director Alfredo Scala and collaborators and the president of the motorcycle club Gentleman’s Claudio Gregori is commendable The ceremony was attended by Ing. HMS Prize Giving ceremony in Croatia

Last weekend, the Croatian Federation HMS organised the yearly Prize Giving Ceremony in Jastrebarsko. A total of 250 invited people joined the Ceremony with many trophies, plates, cups and awards. HMS can be proud of the presence and nice words of many important sponsors, partners and representatives of all kind of authorities.
