2019 FIM Europe Congress in Zagreb (Croatia)

Yesterday the first organizational meeting took place in Zagreb in sight of the 2019 FIM Europe Congress. The FIM Europe delegation composed of the Treasurer Mr. Michal Sikora and Secretary General Mr. Alessandro Sambuco was welcomed by HMS President Mr. Stjepan Peršin, Secretary General Mr. Ivan Lafter and Secretary Mrs. Renata Stamicar.
The Congress will be held at the Sheraton Hotel in the Center of Zagreb but other alternative solutions for the accommodation at walking distance will be provided.
During the morning a visit to the Croatian Olympic Committee was held to introduce the Congress to the Secretary General Mr. Josip Čop.

The HMS President Mr. Stjepan Peršin stated: “On behalf of HMS I would like to thank the FIM Europe President Dr. Wolfgang Srb, the Secretary General Alessandro Sambuco, the Management Council and the General Assembly to award the 2019 FIM Europe Congress to our Federation. I believe that HMS together with Zagreb city, the National Olympic Committee and our Clubs will show that the trust has been well placed and that it will be a very successful Congress. We are also confident that in this way we will contribute to the development of motorcycling sport and tourism in Croatia.
“We shall warmly welcome you next year in Zagreb, Croatia!”

“Zagreb is a magnificent city with a Balkan soul” the FIM Europe Treasurer Mr. Michal Sikora added. “HMS made a really good job and planned to held FIM Europe Congress in the heart of the old town in great Sheraton Hotel. The venue looks amazing and it will bring extra quality to the most important yearly meeting of the European Federations. Personally, I’m really looking forward for next year Congress. See you all in Zagreb!”
